“I came as a female solo traveler and had a wonderful time at Jamal’s beautiful place. Everything is still very new, super clean and tidy. There is a great breakfast on the terrace with everything one could wish for. I also got a private surf lesson from Jamal and must say I have never gotten this detailed feedback! After a few pop ups we went back to the beach to discuss what I was doing well and what could improve and moved towards turning the bord and catching my own waves. With years of experience in teaching surfing and managing other schools he is doing everything perfect at Grip Sea :) Plus: if you love BJJ like me: this is the first and only place I found to combine grappling with surfing in marocco! Great things coming up :) P.S. Anza itself is a beautiful and slow place. It is hardly overrun by tourist like some places further up north, gives great opportunities to discover something real and wind down. It’s also very easy to reach from agadir and well connected to the next towns by local busses :)”

“I recently spend some days in this wonderful and super new place in Anza, Agadir, Morocco. It‘s designed and built by scratch and still smells like fresh cut wood which I loved. It‘s beautiful, cozy, clean, calm, just 1min walk from the beach, has a wonderful big rooftop terrace, an amazing female chef that prepares delicious meals and the kindest host Jamal. The rooms are well equipped and pretty, the shared bathrooms are great too, every lebendig the house is beautifully designed- you can see and feel that a lot of love, energy and thought was put into creating this space. Anza is the perfect town just outside of Agadir, with great places to eat and an amazing long beach which is perfect for surfing, a long walk or just staring at the waves.
