“To make things simple: Pros The staff were genuinely lovely from start to finish. Everyone we interacted with — from the front desk to the person assisting with luggage — was polite, welcoming, and helpful, which made a positive difference to the overall experience. The idea behind the hotel itself is also good, and visually the place has potential. The location is relatively close to the beach, which is convenient, even if not exceptional. Cons Unfortunately, the execution does not live up to the concept or the price point. While the hotel is near the beach, the surrounding area lacks good restaurant options, which limits convenience. Cleanliness was a major issue: the room was not properly clean upon arrival, and the bathroom in particular left a lot to be desired — which is especially disappointing, as this is where cleanliness matters most. The towels appeared brand new but had clearly never been washed and smelled as such, which is not acceptable, as items straight from the store are not hygienic. There also seems to be a lack of proper management oversight. It feels as though no one is ensuring that all departments meet the standards expected of a five-star hotel. Services in general were underwhelming: WiFi was not offered, nor were clear instructions provided at check-in. For a hotel advertised as five-star, charging £120 per night, small details matter — and receiving only two coffee pods included in the price further reinforced the feeling that value for money was lacking. Overall Despite the friendliness of the staff and the hotel’s aesthetic appeal, I would not recommend this stay. A beautiful setting alone does not justify the price when service, cleanliness, and basic expectations are not met. At this price point, there needs to be much more to back it up!”
“The staff are lovely and friendly. Rooms are modern and have good facilities but more attention to detail needs to be paid to the cleaning - our sofa had crumbs, dirt on the bathroom floor etc. We didn’t research the area properly (our fault) - there are nicer areas with nicer beaches and resorts around Taghazout - this hotel is located in an city area (more full of local residents) - it depends what you are looking for. Great breakfast at the cafe next door as well - probably one of the nicest at this price point for this immediate area.”
“* The property doesnt't honour it's word. Was issued a refund note by the hotel now they arent refunding the monies ** Stayed for 1 night , the property markets itself as a 5* hotel but I'd say more a 4*. We booked a deluxe room which was spacious, clean and had a decent balcony looking down the road towards the sea. Plenty of sockets for gadgets. We availed of the room service which was tasty and good value for a hotel. The towels were a bit worn . Don't understand if 2 people are booked in the room, why only 1 pair of slipper & bathrobe was provided.... the rug in the room was a tad stained through wear & tear and needed a good clean. But nice to have both kettle, coffee machine & fridge available for use. The reason for the low grading was due to the room not having any working air conditioning, and the hotel were not able to accommodate us in another room even after putting 2 calls to reception. We then had to sleep with the balcony door open all night, with chairs positioned to give warning if anyone entered the room. Apparently that night multiple rooms had no ac working .. the lady on reception showed a lack of empathy to the situation and smiling on occassion. Not a great end to the holiday! We didn't walk the area or take breakfast.”
“Did a prepaid booking through Navan/Expedia and then after a long travel day at the check in they said we don't accept this kind of bookings even if it's confirmed and their offre still there and won't let me in ! I don't recommend it”
“My second stay at this modern boutique hotel in the centre of Agadir. Again, the room was excellent with a really comfortable bed and large bathroom with all toiletries supplied. The shower was powerful with enough hot water for 2 showers. The air conditioning was sufficient for the temperatures in April and October. The staff were amazingly helpful, with great local knowledge and even helped me locate a dispensing pharmacy for my medication. A special mention to Ehsan who was amazing on both of my stays. The hotel is about a 5 minute drive to the beach. I would highly recommend the hotel based on comfort and the quality of the staff. I fully intend to return to this hotel. Recommended”
“I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Petit Palace Suite Hotel in Agadir, which proved to be a delightful experience. The entire team, including the cleaning staff, were exceptional, going above and beyond in their service. I was particularly impressed by one cleaner; a petite woman with black hair, whose proficiency in English and exemplary customer service were so remarkable that I was surprised she wasn't assigned to the front desk. The rooms were superb, and any issues were swiftly addressed by the attentive staff. Dining at the hotel was a treat; the food was delicious, and the Parisian-style decor of the restaurant added to the charm. The hotel’s location in a more residential area allowed me the opportunity to explore local shops and eateries at leisure, which was ideal for experiencing more of the local culture. As I was working remotely during my stay, reliable internet was essential, and the hotel did not disappoint with their exceptionally fast connectivity. An evening staff member, possibly named Mohammed, was particularly memorable for his warm and welcoming nature, enhancing my stay even further. However, I do have some constructive feedback. Although the restaurant's indoor decor was stunning, I was looking to purchase a unique, high-end Moroccan gift, and was only offered fancy sugar. It would be beneficial for the hotel to consider stocking a range of premium Moroccan gifts for purchase. Additionally, while plans for a rooftop terrace are underway, having sun loungers on each terrace would provide a perfect spot for relaxation in the meantime. I am eagerly anticipating my next visit to the Petit Palace Suite Hotel and would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the staff for their outstanding service during my stay.”
