“The term you get what you paid for comes to mind.it was a very cheap stay. The hotel is in need of serious renovation works. The facilities are limited such as no fridge, water, kettle, coffee available in the rooms. Ac doesn't work in all the rooms. The dining area needs a deep clean with service stopping at 11pm. The hotel is well located although there is a steep stairway to the beach at the back with no lifts. The house keeping staff are great as with the porters. The management team are limited in what they do they just "manage the situation" as opposed to resolve anything.”
“Lovely hotel close to all amenities, bank just behind hotel, staff helpful and polite, local beers and spirits are included and food well prepared and tasty. Bedroom was clean but basic, bed was comfy very clean. No fridge in the room. Air conditioning worked, as for the noise, it wasn't that bad, it is by a main road so if you're sensitive to traffic wear ear plugs at night. |Lots to do on the seafront and lots of entertainment close by. |Will happily come again. |This is a budget hotel around 3 star and they are renovating, all in all a good bargain.”
“After reading the reviews as you can appreciate myself and my friend were very sceptical booking the Royal Mirage, but with the location being so good we had to see for ourselves. As we arrived the hotel looked very clean and presentable we were welcomed by lovely staff Hassan who helped us with our bags, reception staff and Fati - Guest Relations who was definitely the beautiful heartbeat of the hotel. We were given welcome drinks despite only booking B&B. We booked the sea view room which gave us the most stunning view of the mountain and we watched the sunset into the sea from our balcony each evening. I have stayed at the best of the best hotel in Agadir but I have never had this view! The rooms were cleaned and beds madeup everyday. They are a small team of dedicated staff who will take your towels in the morning, wash and replace by the afternoon so please be patient. The breakfast was a simple buffet of fresh pastries and the fresh msemen (paratha) and a fresh omelette station made by the sweetest ladies Fatima and Kareema who were always smiling and welcoming, aswell as the hardworking waiters. The pool was perfect, very clean and well maintained, although there is construction of two new pools ongoing but this didn’t bother us. Due to an issue with the fire alarm Fati kindly compensated us with an amazing sauna session within the hotel. We were amazed as to how professional the sauna/spa set up was and spa staff Hasna was lovely. We left feeling very relaxed and happy. I would like to remind anyone who is considering booking that this is an old hotel and we booked this as a budget friendly hotel so please do not expect anymore than this. Despite this, it was very well maintained by lovely hardworking staff and we will definitely stay again.”
“The location is brilliant right by the beach and some of the staff are really friendly. However, our entire stay was let down by serious issues. It is naturally very hot here, so air conditioning is absolutely essential, yet we went the whole week without it. We reported it to reception; someone came to inspect it, confirmed it wasn’t working, and promised it would be fixed the next morning. When we followed up, we were told the AC was broken throughout the entire building and nothing could be done — but we later spoke to other guests and discovered this was completely untrue. To make matters worse, they never answered the phone whenever we tried calling reception to follow up or ask for help. The cleaning service was also extremely poor. When my wife politely asked for fresh towels and bed linen, and for the old ones to be removed, the staff member refused her request outright and slammed the door in our face. There was also no fridge provided in the room at all. No to the restaurant breakfast same every single day, we had to wait for plates, glasses at times, good option very limited, especially dinner time we ate only 3 days out of 6 due to lack of options. First night we got robbed 50 MAD for bottle of water. You don’t get no drinks with your meal even though you pay for it.”
“Pillow was terrible! Nose from the street from the road is so load, very hard to sleep. I would never recommend this hotel.”
“"Unforgettable stay! 🌟 The hotel itself is amazing, but the entertainment team made it legendary! A huge shoutout to the animators for keeping the energy high all day with awesome activities, and to the DJ for dropping absolute bangers every single night. 🎉🔥 The vibe here is unbeatable—clean rooms, great food, and endless fun. Can’t wait to come back!"”
