“When you like us for the first time visit Maroc and your plane arrives late in the afernoon you must book a room in la Porte des Etoiles. Even when we stayed only one night in La Porte de Etoiles, one day for departure , we got a telephone message from mister Duprė , the owner. He asked us if we liked that he picked us up at the airport.( included!) Very very very nice and helpfull. In the evening he brought us to a nice little restaurant. With kindly people and very good fish food.||It's an understanding that with such kind of ospitality our room was very good, clean and with good beds. In the morning we met a French couple at te breakfast table. Also that was nice. We feel at home in Maroc! Mister Duprė thank you very well!!!”

“Affordable, nice, clean and cosy guesthouse. + The guesthouse is run by a very friendly and helpful French lady living in Morocco. Our room was big and clean. Washroom was huge! I think we were the only guests, so the place was very quiet and we slept well. Breakfast was typical Moroccan, i.e. sweet and without any meat. We could park the car on the street. I'd definitely stay there again in the future. - We had difficulties finding the place after dark and we had to ask locals for help. GPS reception in the area is bad due to narrow streets and tall buildings so it's better to get familiar with the neighbour prior going there.”

“We stayed here for just one night due to a layover in Agadir. They provide a free pickup from the airport which is ideal as it really is well hidden! It doesn't look like much from the outside but once inside the decor and atmosphere are really authentique. There's an awesome free pool table, a lovely sun terrace and the staff are some of the friendliest and welcoming I have ever experienced. Some people have complained that it is difficult to find, well if you want easy to find go to one of the big branded hotels on the highway, if you want moroccon hospitality go here! You don't get much better value for money than this!”

“La Porte des Etoiles is a nice and very quiet residence hall with limited rooms run by Dominique. Rooms are huge and the bathrooms are correct. Decor is very pleasant. The place is very clean and you are given keys to enter the time you wish. There are also other amenities that make the place a good option to stay: billiard, dvds (lots) etc. Don't expect luxury but you will fell at home. Everything very clean. Cosy breakfast although not diverse. Don't expect views from the windows. It is difficult to find the place at first but once you are acquainted with area it becomes easier to move around. The place is totally out of the city center but sometimes this is not bad. After all there are plenty of taxis and they are cheap. There are things less good: rooms are cold and I had to ask for a heater. Troubles to find enough electricity outlets.”

“Once inside, the accommodation is lovely with a well equipped games room including a pool table. ||The breakfast was superb and the bed very comfortable. ||Finding the place was fine using maps.me but would have been very difficult otherwise. Even when we were right outside and had cross checked the address there was nothing to indicate that the hotel was there. In the end we rang every one of the unmarked bells which got us inside. ||The hotel is a long way from the beach, not a problem for us as we had a car.||WiFi is only good in the public areas.||There are a number of house pets, check first if you have allergies.”
