“This was a very special experience - stunning location and a great place to unwind and get away from the busy electronic lives we all lead! Mostafa could not have been more welcoming, kind and hospitable. Assisted by the delightful Nawal, you almost feel as if you are in his home but with all the privacy you want. Beautiful views all around and a wonderful place to walk from. The evening sunsets are just out of this world.||The food is home-cooked and plentiful and our room was quiet and comfortable with a balcony from which to enjoy the view. We even had a swim!||We would love to go back one day.”

“This is a fantastic and very authentic location. We were expecting a very styled hotel, but it was even better: it had style while being authentic which is even more important. Mostafa is a fantastic host and can tell you everything you need to know about the area, Morocco, morocco culture and much more. He is super friendly and his staff will serve you well. The food which we ate there, was the best which we were enjoying in all of Morocco. The location is fantastic overlooking the whole flat plain stretching to Marrakesh and beyond. At night, you can see the stars above very clearly and the lights of the city, the human-made stars ;)”

“Phenomenal hotel in a beautiful setting. We stayed only one night at this hotel but wish we could have stayed longer. Mustafa, the owner, goes out of his way to welcome all of his guests and make sure they feel comfortable. We did a cooking class onsite with Mustafa and Noelle which was wonderful including many ingredients fresh from the garden. Mustafa went out of his way to make sure we had a variety of activities and made sure we got from place to place. It was easy to communicate and we had a wonderful stay at Le Douar Berbere. Would definitely recommend!”

“We are so happy to have found this place. Mostafa and Nawal are the most wonderful hosts and took genuine pleasure in looking after us so well. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they felt like family by the end of our stay. They are so hospitable and warm. Nawal's cooking is delicious and the best we have had during our month travelling around Morocco. The property is beautiful, with spectacular views yet only 45 mins from Marrakech, a great pool and comfortable lounge areas. We got to see several of the rooms and they are all fantastic. I rarely leave reviews but this place is so magical and the team works so hard. The only downside is... that we couldn't stay longer!”

“This place is magical! The energy there is so calming and really has a diffrent vibe, in a good way! It's the perfect place to relaxt, think, read and overthink life :) The rooms are little paradises, very spacious and beautiful interior. Mustafa and Noël are the best hosts. Everything is very personal and they really give everything to make you feel at home. If you want to Mustafa can take you on trips around the mountains, but you can also stay and relaxt at the pool. The food is real maroccan food and so so delicious! We definately want to go back!”
