“Overall worth the hike. Although we were not sure if this would lead us to the viewpoint since there was nobody walking this trail. From the parking area, you walk upwards and follow the trail. When you reach the end of navigation, you have to walk past the houses and farm to continue a smaller path and around the mountain. The view was mesmerizing and very peaceful. On the way back you’ll see a purple house and blue houses. Follow that path and down to another trail down to the canyons where all the cafes and people are swimming.”

“I rarely review places but I want to throw this out there so that you don’t show up like me thinking you’re about to be one with nature. I arrived on a Monday in August and there were probably 10,000 people there. Yes, it’s beautiful so it’s not like I blame them but don’t go thinking this is some secret gem hidden in the mountains. I saw more tourists here than in Chefchaoen. Is August 4th a day dedicated to swimming?! Or is it always this crowded in summer? Go for the beauty but be prepared to walk the trail in a single file line like you’re at an amusement park! Also, there was a creepy guy hanging out at the Gods Bridge. He may live there and he gave serious troll vibes. If you’re into fairy tales and a little bit of woodsy eeriness, you’re in for a treat!”

“There are two routes; one that follows the river (all the cafes are situated along this path) and one that goes up so you can actually cross God’s bridge at the top. The path to the top is quite narrow and steep so come prepared. Takes you 30 to 45 minutes with a good condition to reach the top. Then head back all the way and take the route along the river so you can have a meal, something refreshing to drink and take a dive in the cold waters below God’s Bridge!”

“Tip: find way up on your way to the bridge. Do nit cross the bridge. You walk higher and finally over the rim of the mountain. You return to anchor via small villages. Total of 3 hours. Great experience. In general safe, no climbing. but always tricky mountains. We walked with fam 8/12/15yrs”

“IMPORTANT: footing on the top route during dry season can be unstable and fellow hikers are not always considerate about sharing the path, which gets very narrow. Good shoes are critical. My husband and I are both fit and capable hikers, but he slid on loose dirt/gravel and actually fell off the side of the mountain. Had it not been for a well-placed bush that stopped his slide, it would’ve been a very different day. The view from the top route isn’t all that great and the exertion required is quite phenomenal. My recommendation would be to stick to the bottom route for a better view and significantly easier walk.”
