“We stopped here on our motorbike trip from Merzouga to Dades Gorge for some much-needed cold drinks on a very hot day. We ended up staying for lunch and were so glad we did! We had a sizzling Berber omelette, a very refreshing salad, fries, and chicken skewers. As a vegetarian, I particularly loved the omelette and salad, both were incredibly tasty and full of flavour. It was great to finally enjoy some traditional Moroccan food. The owner is a friendly and welcoming guy who also gave us some excellent tips on scenic routes for our journey. Great food, great hospitality, and a perfect stop on the road. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
“On the way to our desert Trip we stayed at the Saghro Restaurant. We got a great welcome from the owner Abdel Lah. He is a super nice and friendly guy. The food was great and more than sufficient. We felt like dining at a beach club. We went for the “Berber Tagine” (omelette), some Moroccan Salat and mixed meat skewers from the barbecue grill. They also have plenty of snacks and Soda for your further Trip. I can highly recommend this traditional joint! 👍🤤👌”

“We had a great lunch here! Our group of 6 enjoyed an incredible Moroccan salad, grilled chicken and french fries. We spent almost two weeks in Morocco and the salad plate was one of the best - very fresh and we are still talking about the fries. Service was generous and friendly. It's a casual spot, seating outdoors under the awning, but it was summer and midday and we were still comfortable. Very reasonable prices. Our son had a great time talking Moroccan soccer with the owner/manager(?).”
