“I have never felt the need to write a review like this before. Two days before Eid, my friend and I ate a Caesar salad at Maison Alexis. Shortly afterwards, we both became seriously ill with the same symptoms. The situation became severe enough that I had to be treated at Cheikh Zayed Clinic in Casablanca, where I spent hours on an IV and received treatment for food poisoning. My friend also required hospital treatment and continued to suffer symptoms afterwards. The Caesar salad was the only meal we both shared before becoming ill. We both have medical documentation relating to the incident. What should have been an enjoyable holiday turned into days of illness, medical treatment, stress and additional expenses. I am posting this review to document our experience and to warn other customers. We have retained photographs, receipts and medical records relating to what happened. A beautiful interior and an upscale reputation mean very little if food safety standards are not being maintained. This experience was extremely serious and had a significant impact on our trip
