“Visited in January 2026. Morocco 🇲🇦, Casablanca. We chose this restaurant specifically for its seafood offering. The interior feels like a traditional tavern — wooden tables and chairs, dark tones, and white tablecloths give it a slightly nostalgic atmosphere, as if stepping back 20 years in time. FOOD: This is a Spanish restaurant, and one pleasant surprise was the availability of an English menu, which is not very common in Casablanca. We ordered several dishes. The tuna tartare was unfortunately disappointing — the fish appeared to be previously frozen and was served very cold, with visible membranes left intact, suggesting it hadn’t been properly cleaned. The grilled sardines were flavorful, but difficult to eat due to the bones. The flesh was very tender and fell apart when trying to separate it from the bones, making it quite inconvenient despite the good taste. The grilled octopus with purée was excellent — tender, lightly charred, well seasoned, and beautifully cooked. The purée itself was also outstanding, smooth and flavorful. Easily one of the best octopus dishes we’ve had recently. And of course, we ordered paella — which turned out to be the absolute highlight. It was the best paella we’ve ever had: an abundance of seafood, rich and flavorful rice with a slight crust on the bottom, juicy and perfectly balanced. Truly unforgettable. SERVICE: Service was pleasant and efficient. The waitstaff spoke some English and were helpful throughout. Most dishes arrived quickly; the only wait was for the paella, but it was absolutely worth it. VERDICT: One of the best Spanish and seafood restaurants in Casablanca. It’s also one of the few places where the air wasn’t filled with smoke, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A great atmosphere, excellent food — especially the paella — and a restaurant we would definitely return to.
“Not a bad restaurant but the service could be better. The food was good. The bread was fresh and very tasty. My husband had the sole fish. He liked everything - the fish, the vegetables and the rice. I had the breaded chicken. It was also good. It was served with the best homemade fries and a fresh salad of lettuce, tomatoes and onions. The ambience was nice. Please note that there is no English menu.”
“After several days in Morocco we ended up in Casablanca. We were looking for a restaurant selling beer, after several false alarms we we on our way back to the hotel and decided to pop in here for some evening food. To our surprise they were selling 2 draught lagers at reasonable prices. Thourghally good evening, food and ale good. We came the following night, just got a a late night drink and both draught lagers had "run out" bottles only available. We decided to run out as well!”
“Excellent atmosphere and some of the best service I’ve had in Casablanca to date. The paella reminded me so much of what I’d get in Spain, very authentic. The sangria hit the spot though I could’ve used more of it! Overall, it was an absolute fantastic night because of the atmosphere, service and quality of the food. They also brought out a whole fish that had been caught the day before to show what the fish of the evening would be. Well, I didn’t end up getting that fish I would say it looked delicious delicious and would have been extremely fresh if I’ve had it. Would it recommend this place for anyone who enjoys authentic Spanish cuisine.”
“Walked in for late Sunday lunch. I was immediately taken by the atmosphere & the friendly welcome. Some appetisers first. We shared the baby cos salad to start while we waited for the traditional seafood paella. The food was delicious & Spanish white wine a perfect choice. The waiters were so friendly, smiled a lot but most of all very professional. We really enjoyed our meal & would love to go back before we leave the city. Highly recommend.”
“Fantastic. How is this place not higher rated?! Service was above excellent. Always attentive. Food was really good. Best we had in a week in Morocco. Gambas pil pil was to die for. Wine was really good too. Not cheapest place we been, but loved it.”
