“We went there for a small break while enjoying the view over the mountain and the Ras el Ma. We were the only tourists there but since no one seemed to mind neither did we. We sat down and ordered two mint teas (5dh each). The service was quick enough. However, the minute those teas arrived it was hell. We were bombarded by over 20 bees coming after the tea. The waiter brought us a small plate to use as a lid so the bees wouldn’t fall in the tea.They were all around us, in our faces, arms,legs and mostly the tea. After 20min or so they’d start wandering off but as soon as we tried to take of the lid to sip the tea they would come back in force. The staff kept telling they wouldn’t hurt us, and they really didn’t, but everything was awkward, we couldn’t move too abruptly, couldn’t drink anything, couldn’t relax. The waiter obviously couldn’t control the bees but no help was given to us whatsoever. He just stared and told us to drink it anyway, despite the bees literally on every inch of the glass. We ended up with several drowned bees in our tea which we didn’t manage to drink any of and having payed for what was in reality a true waste of time.”
