Dar Sababa

“Perfect base for Chefchouen! The location is so central, it literally couldn’t get any better. You step out of the riad and are on the Main Street in the old town and 50 ft away from the iconic street. The rooms has wifi and AC and we’re quite nice. But the best thing was the rooftop view with a really delicious breakfast. Moroccan breakfast usually is only bread at riads, but this one had veggies and eggs too which we were so thankful for. The available laundry was so nice to be able to clean clothes. I would recommend to anyone!!”

“I stayed there for 4 nights and I do not think I have ever stayed at a more beautiful place. I am not sure if it is considered a hotel or a BnB since there are only 7 rooms,. The staff was great. Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean and made up everyday with new towels also. The place was decorated beautifully with kinda a Bob Marley vibe. Situated uphill in what I consider to be the most beautiful blue part of Chefchaouen. Located down some small stairs from a vender lined beautiful ( I know I’ve used the word beautiful a lot but there is no other way to describe it.) street. The place is also only 5 minute walk from the main plaza with all the restaurants and landmarks. On the roof there is a 2 tiered terrace with an awesome view of the mountains and the town and a complimentary breakfast is served up there every morning. I took the CTM bus from Tangiers which dropped you off at the bottom of Chefchaouen. My suggestion is to take a taxi, many available, to the hotel because I walked the mile up and it almost killed me. If I ever get back to Chefchaouen I wil, without hesitation, stay at Dar Sababa.”

“What an adorable little Riad in the heart of the city! Our family was greeted by the friendliest staff who helped us with our luggage and welcomed us with mint tea. They offered us two rooms, both of which were nicely sized and well decorated. The shower had nice hot running water. The terrace offered an excellent view of the sunset. The next morning, we had a delicious breakfast of fresh juice, omelette, and an assortment of breads. Location was perfect!”

“We stayed at Dar Sababa for one night, and we could not be happier with our stay. The location is perfect - right in the middle of Medina, in a quieter section where you can get some respite from the Instagram crowds, the room was tastefully decorated, and the breakfast was plentiful. The staff is super friendly, always full of smiles.||Overall, this is great choice to stay in lovely Chefchaouen.”

“Loved this Riad, it was so beautiful, bed was comfortable, place was very clean, but the best were the owners. Really enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace, the breakfast was delicious. We stayed for 3 days just to get some peace from Marrakech and Fez, the views were amazing. It was nice we were able to use the washer, when we checked out early they walked us to the place to meet our taxi, wonderful stay.”
