“Mustafa and Emad were so helpful and flexible, and the breakfast (extra 30dh with my dorm room booking) was excellent on the stunning terrace. I found the value for money fantastic here, I couldn't believe my luck with this beautiful spot, unbeatable location, and all the facilities you could need. Hot water. WiFi on each floor, laundry, very comfortable beds and rooms, delicious food and lovely friendly staff. There was even space to do yoga on the terrace. Shukran bzaaf Dar Chourafa!!”
“I feel bad giving an average review as the location ,staff and views were all excellent.|We arrived by foot as no real cars are allowed within old town apart from delivery and work trucks etc |In general Chefchaoen has a lot of steps so bear in mind if infirm etc |It’s not we’ll signposted as part of the writing had worn off the small sign so only for Google maps we would have missed it|Nice young lady checked us in we were the only guests for the duration of our stay |It’s very basic accommodation so don’t expect 3 star or more |We had a room with a double bed and a single bed . They were very comfy and I slept very well|Breakfast was included and delicious. Fabulous |coffee , fried egg ,varieties of bread , jams olives croissant and cream cheese and was served on the very top roof terrace with the most spectacular views over the city and the rif mountains and Spanish mosque up the mountain (we hiked there for sunset it’s a must do imo )|Now I have to mention why I can’t rate it a higher rating|It really needed a good cleaning the floors were not clean so walking barefoot it felt dirty |We had plumbing problems on arrival with wash basin and also there seems to be a leak somewhere around the pipes, wash-basin or toilet throughout our stay, so there was constantly a wet floor |Shower was hand held so not good if you have long thick hair that needs washing and conditioning lol |I feel it’s such a beautiful spot if bathroom was fixed and it was all cleaned I would definitely give it 5stars”
“I would recommend this place. I really enjoyed my stay at Riad dar Chourafa. All basic needs were well covered, and the experience was simple but with very good support throughout. The host who met me outside was very professional, calm, and helpful. He guided me to the riad, explained everything clearly, and showed me around, which made the arrival very easy and stress-free. The accommodation itself is basic, but it offers everything needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, I felt that I received good value for the price I paid, and my expectations for a simple stay were fully met.”
“Perfect place to stay in Chefchaouen. As a lady solo traveller, I felt safe and under care all the time. Had to spend 2 nights but extended to 4 night there. Bed is comfortable, hot water, amazing viewing at the terrace and tasty breakfast 😋”
“Very beautiful place, wonderful & very kind people, and shouldn't forget about the delicious yummy breakfast. Thank you so much Mr. Mustapha for your hospitality, see you soon!”
“We’ve booked a two day stay, and decided to leave after a day. We still were forced to pay the full price. The location is superb, but the overall rooms were lacking especially in the bathroom department. The hotel was in the middle of construction producing loud disturbance during the day, starting at our arrival it became evident that this was not the stay we were looking for. We were placed in a room adjacent to the kitchen, which resulted in us being awoken earlier than the start of breakfast due to a lot of noise and ruckus coming from the adjacent space. The bathroom consists of a toilet and a shower within the same enclosed space, so bring flipflops if you plan to use the toilet after someone took a shower. In addition to this, the outlet was hanging out of the wall with exposed wires. Quite the safety hazard. The shower was not even properly fitted against the wall, but rather dangled on the ground. The staff did not speak English, nor French. And did not even acknowledge the noise we said was the main reason for our leave. To top it all off, the WiFi was present but not working. I would not recommend staying here, especially since there are better accommodations nearby with the same price point.”
