“An elderly receptionist was extremely rude, he refused to welcome my parents simply because they have an old marriage certificate, as they were married 40 years ago. When I called to try to understand the situation, he actually called me an "IDIOT." I hope he sees this comment and realizes that his behavior was completely unfair and far from what true hospitality should be.”

“This cute hotel is close to the local medina and is a nice change from the business and pushiness of Marrakesh. ||||The room was a good size but the ensuite bathroom was super tiny, making it hard to turn around in but part of the fun. There was hot water but unfortunately you have to let the water run for a long time before it gets hot. We were lucky on the second day the water was hot instantly. The room was clean, which is good for such an old hotel. We stayed on the 3d floor and the room was quiet. Good value for money and the staff are super helpful. One staff member who was off work even came from home to help us get a taxi to the bus station, and he wouldn't accept a tip.||||El Jadida is a lovely town where you will get more of a 'local' Moroccan experience than the big cities of Casablanca and Marrakesh. All the people we met in the street were so friendly and everyone welcomed us to Morocco. Stay a few days and you will probably only see one or two other tourist.”

“I had an amazing experience in this hotel, and would definitely recommend it. The prices start from 80 Dh, clean rooms, quiet place, comfy beds, magnificent view from the top of the building as there's a huge market nearby with a variety of products. Not to forget the excellent service of the staff working there.”

“When I first stayed here in the late 90s it was clean and very simple. That meant that there were 2 lavatories for the whole hotel, one of them Turkish, and one shower on the ground floor.||||I had a look today. Things have changed. The lovely atrium is still there, but the rooms have showers and lavatories en suite. The rooms even have air conditioning, something that would have been wonderful that summer I stayed there for 5 weeks in the terrible heat.||||It's in an old section of town, so might be felt as being more "authentic". In any case, it's a good budget option.”

“Located near the Old Portugeese part of town, and the nearby medida. The rooms were OK, though there was an extra tip for hot water in the shower.Clean, no bugs. Unless you speak French or Arabic you might have problems communicating with the staff, but that's not a big problem. ||Even though the hotel is located in what seems to be a silent street, there might be noises form outside during the night. Try a higher floor if possible.”

“We had a room with sanitary facilities on the first floor, which was equipped with TV and, quite surprisingly, a refrigerator. The room and toilet was clean and modern, and the bed provided a good night's sleep. Though the room is located in a maze of alleys, it’s not difficult to find it thanks to numerous signs which show the direction to the entrance. There is no possibility to buy breakfast in the hotel, but that is no problem as the surrounding medina offers various food products.”
