“We thought of skipping this place due to huge crowd before the opening but worth the wait. The cafe is inside the museum and it opens at 10am but if you want to get seated, it’s best to line up in a cue before 1 hour early. Pro tip: once you get your ticket, go to coffee restaurant first as it takes longer in there. Huge variety of coffees from light to dark and decaf… we chose Kenya dark blend and Marrakesh morning blend with desserts. The experience and the ambience were perfect with the BGM touch !!”

“Before going to this café, I read a lot of reviews online, so I decided to go early and queue up. To be honest, you still have to wait even if you arrive early, but because the weather in Marrakesh is very hot, I preferred waiting earlier rather than later. The coffee and staff were great. I stayed there for around 2 hours enjoying the food and drinks. Had a really good time there!”

“We visited Bacha Coffee and had to queue for around 3 hours, on a sundayyy 😉but it turned out to be such a memorable experience. Knowing that this is where it all originated made it feel quite surreal. Of course, we couldn’t leave without picking up some coffee! The staff were nice, and the place itself is absolutely beautiful in person. 🫶 Overall, definitely worth experiencing at least once.”

“After turning up one day and walking away when we were told to expect a 2hr wait, we decided to go back the next day anyway. This time it was a 3hr wait but with the outside temp at 38, we decided to sit on the shade and wait whilst people watching. After 30mins, we got a pager which was actually an hour earlier than advised and actually we were seated 90mins later, so a 2hr wait overall. As other reviewers have said, you are not just 'grabbing a coffee' here. We were sat in a side alcove which had air conditioning and provided a very pleasant atmosphere. The waiter (Aziz) was fantastic, and spent time asking for our preferred tastes before suggesting coffee's for us to try. The food menu is good but lacks Gluten Free options unfortunately. To this end, my wife had a Steawberry sundae which was gluten free and extremely tasty (so I'm told). I had the Moka set, this included the coffee, a fruit juice (more strawberry), some churro's and 2 slices of cake. The churros were awesome, very light and i recommend the pistachio cake. Despite the long queues, we were never rushed and could take time to admire the room and its decor before we left. A visit here is an experience which we would happily repeat.”
