Palais Ghiat

“46 of us went to Palais Ghiat to celebrate our graduation. We had the most lovely time and Abdullah tried very hard to make our stay comfortable. You get a lot of bang for your buck; the amenities are basic but functional. About 40 minutes from Marrakesh centre, the villa is best suited for self-contained stays although the staff are able to book you transfers - whilst more expensive than a regular taxi being far from the city makes it difficult to order through other means. Dinners were good for the price, breakfast more basic and if you have allergies would recommend bringing your own food. Finally, some miscommunication about prices of food / transfers / additional charges... but as we were paying so little we were not too upset about being overcharged. Overall, we left very happy - thank you!!!”

“One of the worst place we had ever. AC don't docent work, fan doesn't work, service was bad. U really can't do much but one things was good whice is pool, we enjoyed pool. Kitchen is restricted to use you don't have 24/7 access.its very risk for kids because pool is right next to room tou can't leave yours kids alon. Also if you hire car from reception it's too high price.”

“This is strictly a family hotel, with a lot of young children running up and about , but it is not so good if you want a little bit more rest . It is also located a little bit too far away from Marrakesh, of the beaten track . The bathroom and toilet had a sewage odour due to bad plumbing . And last but not least , the hotel's aim is more towards domestic or Moroccan tourisme from abroad (there is absolutely nothing wrong with that) but less towards foreign tourists, so there is no alcohol on the menu. Which was a bummer cause a nice glass of whine would have been welcome after a 6 hour mountain drive coming from the dessert . Anyway like I said a great place if you have a lot of small children and you don't drink alcohol”

“The place looks new and is relatively clean. We visited during down season so maybe the maintenance of the site was less frequent. Pool is nice and free parking. Staff was nice and the place was quiet and calm (more peacocks than staff and client) . However food was a total disaster. Bringing your own food is a must to enjoy your stay.”

“We recently stayed at Palis Ghiat for our annual family holiday with 37 people, and it was truly wonderful, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Lahcen. He was incredibly kind, always had a smile on his face, and went above and beyond to assist us, no matter how many times we asked for help. What really stood out was how friendly and entertaining he was with our kids—they absolutely loved his company and quickly became his friends. He never tired of talking to or playing with them, which is a special trait we deeply appreciate. By the end of our stay, Lahcen felt like part of our family, making our departure bittersweet. Although there was a brief power cut, Lahcen and Anas handled it swiftly and provided us with complimentary breakfast, even though the issue was beyond their control. Our entire family enjoyed the stay, and Lahcen’s outstanding service made it even more memorable.”

“Palais Ghiat was an absolute delight! The Tajins were incredibly delicious, and the service provided by Lamia and the team was top-notch. I felt truly pampered during my stay. Can't wait to go back soon!”
