“We came for dinner they have several floors, the 4th floor is the top rooftop and it has air-conditioning which is great honestly! The staff were all really friendly and nice and for the food they had a taster menu which I felt was honestly super worth it to be able to have a few dishes to sample if you’re new to Moroccan food! Would definitely recommend. (Ps, they also had a really great set up for watching the World Cup for those interested!)”

“The restaurant itself has a very pretty interior. We had only drinks but the food looked nice. A bit pricey tho compared to all the other restaurants in the same area. They serve alcohol and the staff is super polite.”

“This review is long because I believe it deserves context. We were really excited to come up to this rooftop bar for a few drinks before our dinner, but unfortunately the experience turned sour very quickly. Over the course of a few hours, we ordered three happy hour drink sets. One of these was never brought to us, so we mentioned that it never arrived and said it was ok, just bring another. At the end, when we received the bill, the missed set had still been added on, so we politely tried to explain this to the server. At that point, one staff member immediately became aggressive and started yelling at us in front of the entire restaurant. It was extremely uncomfortable and honestly quite shocking. He insisted we were wrong and even tried to show us camera footage, but what he referred to on the footage didn’t actually reflect the missing drinks we were explaining based on the receipt. When we attempted to point out the discrepancy on the receipt, he took it away and refused to properly look at it, continuing to argue rather than resolve the issue. It’s important to note this was just one staff member, but the way he handled the situation completely changed the atmosphere and what should have been an enjoyable start to our evening. On a more positive note, the manager we spoke to as we were leaving was calm and kind, which we appreciated. Mistakes can happen, but being yelled at and dismissed like that is not acceptable. Overall, a very disappointing experience for such a lovely establishment.”

“Three weeks into five in Marrakech we found Le Salama and had our best meal yet. The salads appetizer (see photo) blew us away, while the main courses included the best lamb (couscous) and best beef (skewers) to date. Service was attentive but not intrusive, prices reasonable given the amazing quality. We've two weeks left--we'll be back.”

“Our evening at this place was nothing short of amazing. The setting was absolutely beautiful, and the atmosphere made it feel truly special. A big shoutout to Mahmoud, who made the night unforgettable. His humor and warmth had us laughing all evening, and his recommendations for both food and drinks were spot on. The food itself was incredible — chef-prepared and full of flavor. We started with a selection of Moroccan appetizers, each one giving us a taste of the country’s rich culinary traditions. For the main course, we had the lamb shoulder, which was simply perfect. The night ended with lively belly dancing and the most heavenly tiramisu I’ve ever tasted — the perfect sweet ending to an already fantastic evening. Mahmoud, thank you again for your outstanding hospitality and for making the night so memorable.”
