Their tanjia is consistently exceptional, with options like head meat, trotters, lamb, chicken, and even beans, each slow-cooked to perfection with rich Moroccan spices. The head meat and trotters are especially unique, prepared tender and full of deep, traditional flavor that’s hard to find elsewhere. Adding beans makes the meal even heartier, offering a wonderful balance of taste and texture. The highlight of each visit is ending with a pot of atāy (Moroccan mint tea), sweetened just right and bursting with fresh mint aroma, making it the perfect way to complete the meal. The atmosphere has remained just as welcoming over the years, with a warm ambiance that truly reflects Marrakech’s spirit. For anyone wanting a real taste of Marrakech, I can’t recommend this spot enough!”

“Awesome place where locals eat but tourists shy away. Very unassuming but super friendly atmosphere and great food. We had 4 plates of the slow cooked lamb and 4 of beans and all was delicious. Just for 50 MAD per person. Just do not expect forks!”
