“the atmosphere was beautiful, really nice service and delicious food. definitely more on the tourist side and a little more pricey but definitely worth it. i recommend to book a table in advance, we were quite early so we were lucky to get a table on the rooftop. they had good veggie options, which was great. we shared the VEGAN MEZZE and had the FALAFEL WRAP and the TAOUK WRAP. the falafel was crunchy as well as the fries. hummus and dips were also delicious. to drink we had the homemade ice tea. it was definitely a bit stronger but still yummi. would definitely go there again:)”

“Excellent food in a lovely atmosphere!!! The meze to start was absolutely delicious! So much variety, and lots of different flavours to try. We really found this part of the experience interesting! We loved our mains! We went for the Taouk and the beef and aubergine dish! The desserts were really tasty, and very different from anything we have had before. However, we had to wait a long time for the menus and for our order to be taken for dessert, the only down side to the experience.”

“Ben Jamil offers a nice Levantine break from Moroccan food and is stationed perfectly in the Marrakech Medina right next to the Jema al Fenm square! You’ll be greeted by the extremely well-trained staff and can sit you wherever you desire (outside on terrace or inside on lower level). The food was absolutely wonderful. We ordered the chicken Taouk Wrap which comes with a small side salad, large steak fries, and regular and spicy toum! The Meat Hummus is a MUST try. It is a full entree but can be shared in a group for a flavorful blast of steak, chickpea hummus, olive oil, and a texture difference in the sliced almonds. The food came out very quickly, and there were absolutely no complaints. The ambient arabic music sets the tone for a quiet night atop the Marrakech Medina. NO REASON NOT TO GO!”

“Amazing experience! The staff were incredibly kind, and the chef personally made sure everyone was happy. We visited twice during our 2 days in Marrakech, and it definitely won’t be our last time. If you go, you must try the Taouk Plats – easily the juiciest and most delicious chicken I’ve ever had. My girlfriend asked for her salad without onions, and they kindly accommodated that too. Highly recommended!”

We got treated to some complimentary mint tea after our dinner on the rooftop. A memorable experience that made us return the next day. Great for both lunch and dinner at a great price.”
