“Wonderful experience. We found this place accidentally bcs we were lost and just entered to ask for help but the smell was so nice, everything was so clean. The man working there is just adorable. We felt so good that decided to do hamman + massage. Totally recommended. I will definetly come back. The dogs in the entrance re so cute and the ladies in the hammam were also so nice.”
“A very mediocre experience. The person at reception, think it was owner - was gruff, uninterested, seemed to be anngr about something and borderline rude. The hammam itself had average facilities. The steam room didn’t have enough steam. The process was hammam felt hurried at best and it was more to tick the box than give the customer a good experience. In hammam in another place, there were multiple treatments with natural soaps, oils, some handmade scrub, another handmade lotion and then the shower followed by massage. Here at Ziani, only soap, that too hurriedly before making us wait again. The towels felt old and used. They made us lie down on wet towels for massage. Massage itself was ok but not enough. We were supposed to have a 90 minute experience- wasn’t even full 60 minutes, as it involved lot of just waiting around. The women working there were friendly and nice. But skill level was questionable. Overall, disappointing! Look for another place”
“I had a wonderful time at the Hammam! The price is very just for what you receive. The women who took care of me were amazingly kind and comforting. They provide all you need for an easy time. Thank you so much 😊”
“I was keen to try a traditional hammam and didn’t mind that this place was no frills. The price must have gone up since other reviews as the price was (as at April 2026) 45 Euro/ 450 Drs for what was meant to be 1 hour and 20 min of steam, scrub and massage. The slippers are near impossible to walk in and on a wet floor, I couldn’t help but wonder how many people have fallen because of these. The steam room was not that warm and steam only in the top part of the room. Towels were reused and after I realised this, I tried to ask for a clean towel that was not drenched already and just kept getting brought used towels because unfortunately the lady spoke no english. The massage bed had a hole for the face but it was covered so it couldn’t be used and I had to lie awkwardly and the towels on the massage bed were wet from previous users. The massage was pretty bad to the point I had to ask her to stop in certain areas. She also kept leaving the room and I could see was standing outside chatting with other staff. I ended up getting up off the bed to leave as I felt she was just waiting for the time to pass and I didn't need my time to pass like that. Finally as others have said, despite that I would have tipped anyway, they aggressively follow you for tips.”
“We were already familiar with the Hammam Ziani in Casablanca, but this was terrible compared to it (or any decent hammams) in all aspects. From the beggining the welcoming was lukewarm at best. We got their most expensive formula for 1h of hammam and 1 hour of massage. The hammam was very rushed (not even half an hour) and done in a small and dirty steam room. But the massage was the wprst by far. The masseur was very bad, inexperienced, rude and lacked any technique. On top of that he kept leaving the room every 2minutes. I had literally ask him to finish the massage. The soaping after eas also pretty bad and rushed, and no water or tea given at the end. All in all terrible experience would not recommend to anyone.”
“I had a pleasant visit at Hammam Ziani this afternoon. The scrub was good, the massage was decent enough, the steam room could have been warmer, but all in all a good way to spend 1,5 hours on a rainy day in Marrakech. This place is quite authentic and not posh at all, but for 35 euro you can’t really ask for much more.”
