“Just the one you are looking for. Old Kasbah, amazing rooms and views, the beds are the best we had in Morocco so far, a huge pool (not heated) and a delicious breakfast typical and European combination. We enjoyed it on our way from Fez to Midelt. In the afternoon we booked a walking tour by Mohammed, who is Berber, and he brought us to the canyon and to the Berber village to drink thee with a local family (he rotates so that everyone has work). Ask the hotel to his contact. Amazing time!”

“⭐☆☆☆☆ – Not how we do things in Merzouga I’m from this area, and honestly, this place doesn’t represent Merzouga at all. People come here expecting real hospitality, but what they get instead is careless service and a place that feels like it’s only there to take advantage of visitors. Prices are clearly aimed at tourists, but the quality is nowhere near what you’d expect. Drinks are poorly prepared, and there’s no effort put into the experience. The service is disappointing. No proper welcome, long waits, and staff who seem uninterested most of the time. That’s not how we treat people here. What’s frustrating is that places like this give the wrong impression of Merzouga. There are much better-run spots around with people who actually care. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. You can do much better just by walking a little further .”

“​We visited here for lunch as part of a tour. While the hotel is beautiful and the mountain views are honestly stunning, the dining experience was a comedy of errors. ​The Order: One of us ordered the tagliatelle and a strawberry juice. We pointed to them on the menu and repeated it several times to be sure. ​The Mix-up: The waiter first came and said there was no avocado juice! Then they brought the right one, then brought a tagine instead of the tagliatelle, and the rest of us had the correct meal ​The Second Try: We corrected the mistake with the same waiter, but the next dish to arrive was Bolognese. ​By that point, we gave up and just ate what was on the table to avoid more waiting. The building looks nice and the scenery is great, but don't expect them to get your order right every time”

“We didn’t stay here as part of the tour but the group did stop at the restaurant for lunch. We were served rainbow trout which is a delightful change after days of chicken and beef tagine. The restaurant was exceptionally cold for some reason. We also ordered a carbonara to share.”
