“The guy who runs the hotel is very nice and accomodating. He gave us excellent service from breakfast to dinner and arranging activities e.g. camel ride. He is also very genuine, reliable and responsive. He made our stay worth-while and so much easier. Very welcoming and warm. Plus location is also excellent😍😍😍 Really like the dining area especially at night. Shower can be improved :)”
“Had two nights there, managers & workers are so nice, making you feel at home, you can see the high dunes of sand from your window, with a swimming pool where you can have a fresh swim under the sun's beams. Big thanks to people of this site n looking forward to step at yr doors again ✌️”
“Amazing place and fabulous owners, so relaxing and the food is amazing. Had my first tagine here and I did ask if I could take the chef home with me it was that nice and also served with such care and brought to the van which I thought was amazing...if your in Mazouga this place is definitely worth a stop over The price is also excellent Thanks guys for a great stay 🙏”
“We had a good time at the hotel. Service was really good, everyone was really friendly and helpful. They organised a buggy tour for us where we had a good experience too. Without reservation beforehand they made us dinner which was really tasty. Room was clean. Nice view of the dunes.”
“Only stars for the location and the lovely chef. The guy that runs the place is super rude. It took 45 minutes to check in because he wasn't around, kept me waiting for 20 minutes and then didn't say anything about the stay, only tried to get me to book tours, I had to ask for the key of the room because he didn't give it to me. Then at dinner I said I'd think about if I wanted something as it's €10 - which is a lot in Morocco (turned out to be 3 courses so the price is actually good). And he didn't say anything. When I came back to order he blundly said I couldn't, I had to order before. WHICH HE NEVER MENTIONED. He's an uninterested, rude person. (Also with his comments on these reviews.) Also doesn't respond on booking messages but then seemed offended when I booked my camp stay without his help (which means no commission. Maybe that's why he is rude to me) I usually stay in hostels and expected a lot from something this fancy. In 6 weeks in Morocco, nobody has been this unpleasant and uninterested as this man. There are also smaller issues. There's no cold water in the room during the day so a quick cold shower isn't an option. A/C didn't work, which I normally don't mind but the building really keeps in the heat so opening the tiny window doesn't do much. The pool water is freezing and not clean. The stairs are slippery from algae. There are plenty of other good hotels around, pick those instead”
“We found this place with an inadequate price to quality ratio. The room was old, with no doors to the bathroom, a dead cockroach in the toilet. Upon arrival, we didn't feel welcomed by the host, all opposite to the local hospitality we encountered so far. The only plus was the location and views just by the dune. EDIT: no, we were not happy with this room for almost 50euro/night. A working air conditiong should be a must in a Sahara location, isnt't it? We escaped to look for another option and found a great clean hotel at the same price with super smiling welcoming staff.”
