“What an amazing experience! We had dinner here, sitting on top of a small dune at the foot of the Erg Chebbi. The food was absolutely delicious, among the best I have had in Morocco. So flavourful and the scent from the kitchen of the food was amazing. Definitely recommend this place! We had the minced meat tajine, the lemon chicken tajine, the zaalouk (like ratatouille but better) and the salad. And fruit for dessert.”
“This restaurant, perfectly situated close to the majestic desert dunes, offers far more than just a meal—it delivers an unforgettable taste of Moroccan tradition. The real highlight here is the food, particularly the tagines. The exceptional depth of flavor is no accident; they employ an authentic, age-old cooking technique. I believe they use wood logs to slow-cook their dishes, infusing the tagines with a wonderful, smoky complexity that you simply can't find in modern kitchens. The result is meat that is unbelievably tender and spices that are robust and perfectly balanced. It's a testament to the power of traditional preparation. If you find yourself exploring the dunes, make this restaurant your mandatory stop for lunch or dinner. It is truly a must-try experience and I wholeheartedly recommend it!”
“The best tagine we have eaten in Morocco. The menu is small, the man serving was happy and very busy. The ambience and decor is good. The service was slow when we went as the restaurant were busy and tagines take a long time to cook. I'd recommend going, the food was delicious and flavoursome.”
“It’s a place with incredible views of the desert. The local food is very affordable and tastes amazing—honestly, it was the best local food I had during my entire trip through Morocco. Our waiter was also very kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!!"”
“Worst service in Morocco!!! We came for the good reviews. What a mistake! We waited an hour for our food!!! Then when the rude waiter finally brought the food he got the order all wrong!!! He said it would take an extra 10 minutes to fix which actually probably means another hour!!! We declined at that point. The dishes were tiny and over priced. The salads were small, the tagine was small. Over priced food! The coffee is instant coffee not real coffee. A cat started begging as soon as we started eating! They did nothing about it. We had to shoo it away, meowing at the table. Horrible place, stay far away. Can you believe waiting an hour for two small salads and two (one in the end) small tagines? Don’t come here!”
“The best possible location!!! Inside the dunes, good taste for decorations and many wonderful places to sit, eat, relax... Tasty tagines, very friendly staff. We could even park with our camper at the parking for two nights, thank you so much!!!!”
