“We've decided to spend my birthday in a different place every year, and Morocco was the chosen one for this year. |We flew into Casablanca and of course, what comes to my mind is Humprey Bogart and the movie, I was expecting something similar and it didn't work that way, rented a car to travel around the country and visited the big musque before going to Marrakesh...|Days full of great places and great people , great food and experiences, all good.|Ana and myself had heard about Ouarsasate and about the Ecolodge, what we were not told was about the people and the hotel itself, it was a magical experience, we felt like we were home since we arrived, the food and drinks, the music, the warmth of the staff it's going to be difficult to forget, this is one experience that's worth every penny you spend, actually, you don't spend money here, you invest it in yourself.|If you travel to Morocco, don't miss this place!”
“I visited Éclodage Lille on a quiet afternoon after walking around the city center. I was looking for a place to relax with a good dessert and coffee. The presentation immediately caught my attention, but what impressed me most was the taste. The flavors were balanced, refined, and not overly sweet. You can clearly feel the craftsmanship behind each creation. It’s the kind of place where quality truly speaks for itself.”
“Great location but rooms are very dark. It has a wonderful view of the Atlas and a lake. A good garden and a swimming pool. The tap water is extremely hard and salty. There was no hot water in the taps. Breakfast was decent.”
“Stayed only two nights but wished to stay a bit longer. Rajif is friendly and accomodating, speaks great english (since my French or Arabic is non existant) and makes sure you feel comfortable and at ease. I had what felt doubke king size bed - wider than longer, nice firm mattres in large bedroom and an extra cosy room to take a tea during your meditation... Unusually, there are no wardrobes, so you need to stack your items on the floor or leave in a luggage Also beware, no fridge in the room either. Unusual, but not a deal breaker for me. Strong wifi and reliable electricity allows for your critical catch ups if you need to do so in such calm and relaxed place. Swimming pool looks inviting, though I had no time to give it a go. Location is about 20 minutes away from the town of Quarzazat, last mile on gravel path so dont get scared, carry on, the lodge will be there!🙂 Remote location allows for your nigh starr gazing from your balcony, and birds watchers are 40 mins walk to a nearby lake. Breakfast is traditional, free open table, and if you wish you can have dinner there too chicken with rice €10, soup €3. You can enjoy it in inner spatious coartyard garden whuch has a few tables or in nice traditionally looking dining hall. Thank you, I had a great stay with you, I would certainly come back again.”
“I stopped by Éclodage Lille in Ouarzazate during my trip and was honestly impressed. The pastries looked sophisticated and tasted just as good. The flavors were balanced and not overly sweet. The atmosphere felt modern and clean, making it a nice place to enjoy a quiet coffee break.”
“The hotel is set a bit off the beaten path, so arriving after dark can feel a little disorienting—you might even wonder if the location is a fake. Fortunately, following the GPS directions (Google Maps) gets you there without trouble. The rooms aren’t especially clean, although the bed linens were decent. The bathroom suffers from low water pressure, making showers a bit inconvenient. Breakfast is disappointing for the price; there’s no real, proper coffee, and the overall quality feels sub‑par. On the plus side, the property is very quiet and boasts a lovely inner courtyard. The surrounding area feels safe, and the staff are extremely friendly. Overall, the hotel offers peace and a charming courtyard, but the cleanliness, water pressure, and lackluster breakfast may leave you wishing for more, especially given the price”
