Hotel Karam Palace

“This hotel was located somewhat out of town, not easily walkable. The hotel itself was clean and pleasant. The room was of average size with minimal amenities provided. Bottle water was not provided. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was adequate and clean. The pool and outside bar area was very pleasant, creating a nice atmosphere. Bar prices were reasonable. Buffet dinner had extensive selection of local and western food. Breakfast buffet had little selection.”

“What a beautiful place! Probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed during my Morocco trip 🇲🇦 This place is real spacious with gardens of roses and tropical trees. The pool is quite small but lovely and clean, where I saw lots of other tourists swimming and chilling. People laid back casually on white benches reading books or drinking cocktails. I came here on Saturday afternoon and there was live jazz until late evening (around 10:30pm). Seriously the atmosphere is just amazing. Cool, chill, and relaxing. The hotel offered a wide range of dishes for dinner, which took me by surprise. I visited Morocco as a 10-day trip and in general the meals here were quite simple. Yet dinner at Karam Palace was something else. And you know what, the neighborhood is cool too. It’s safe to take a stroll around and meet the locals. There are several outdoor markets where you can buy both souvenirs or simple basic goods like flip flops and popcorn. I highly recommend this hotel. Damn, on my last days of this trip I have to move to another city (Marrakech) and am staying at another hotel, which has a broken chair and has no glasses to pour water into :((( Miss Karam Palace already!”

“We stayed at this hotel for one night as part of our tour. The lobby was beautifully decorated in traditional Moroccan style and looked very charming. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The food was delicious, and we were especially happy to see a variety of salads, which we really appreciated. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.”

“Would like to caution those looking to book at this property. There is only one listing on Trip.com currently but there are actually 2 properties under the same company (this has already been flagged to Trip.com so hopefully it will be rectified soon!)I booked to stay in a double room at RS Karam Palace. We arrived and was immediately told to go to their “annex” because we did not “upgrade” to stay at the “palace”. Showed them the booking and confirmation and was still told to go to the annex. When I asked if the annex was the same , they told me “better”.Well well, the annex (called RESORT instead, see key photo) is still under construction and renovation. Does not have a location tag on google maps yet, see map photo. Room is very different and definitely worse from that in the current listing online. No pool, no facilities. Service staff at the annex was slightly better, finally upgraded us to a better room within the same annex but told us to take it up with booking agency.Thankfully Trip.com is already aware of this issue but in case it takes awhile for rectification, this is to inform everyone!”

“The most serious issue was hygiene. The bed linen was dirty, with someone else’s hair and visible urine stains. This is unacceptable. Breakfast was very poor, with a limited selection and chipped, damaged tableware that could easily cause injury. Staff members had priority over hotel guests when omelets were served, while guests were left waiting. The territory is beautiful, the staff are friendly and speak English, and the rooms are convenient but clearly worn out. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone who does not want to risk their health.”

“It was one of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip to Morocco. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was amazing, and the rooms were clean. The indigo blue color on the clay houses was very beautiful.”
