“A wonderful hotel where you are personally welcomed by the owner, who makes you feel like a truly valued and special guest. The breakfast was excellent and the dinner were simply wonderful as well!”
“I had an amazing stay at this hotel! Everything exceeded my expectations – the room was clean and comfortable, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Every detail was taken care of, and I truly felt at home. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!”
“Warm welcome, good food and great rooms with a fantastic shower. Thanks Mohammed for your hospitality. Auf wiedersehen!”
“The guitar palace. Really unique hotel with friendly staff. They take security seriously and make you feel very safe. I had a restful night's sleep here while cycling from Chefchouen to Meknes. I highly recommend having dinner here as well. All the food is grown in the garden and it was fantastic to have a healthy meal with local food. The owner is a gentleman and I hope to come back in the summer someday to use the pool.”
“I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share this experience to warn others.||||The biggest issue with this hotel is the owner, who also acts as the manager. He was unwelcoming and dismissive. Any question or request was met with an unhelpful, almost hostile attitude. Guest comfort clearly isn’t a priority here there’s no hospitality, no warmth, and certainly no effort to make anyone feel at ease.||||After two days, a serious incident occurred. The A/C in one of our colleague’s rooms stopped working during an intense heatwave (43°C). When he approached the manager for help, the response was shockingly careless. The manager simply walked into the room, opened the windows, turned off the lights, and said, “You can sleep now.” When our colleague explained that sleeping with open windows and insects everywhere wasn’t acceptable, the manager accused him of breaking the A/C.||||Shortly after, as we gathered to find a solution, a woman working with the manager joined in and said, "We prefer two foreigners over all of you. You're just causing problems. We don’t need your money anyway.” She then proceeded to boast about their wealth, all because someone had asked for a basic service—either to fix the A/C or change the room. Her comments were discriminatory and deeply disrespectful.||||Other issues included very poor network connectivity (due to the hotel's remote location, and their Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. There were also occasional power outages, though that was less of a concern compared to the management’s behavior.||||On a positive note, the young kids working in the garden and kitchen were polite.||The hotel may look nice from the outside, but the atmosphere is cold and uninviting.||If you’re looking for a peaceful stay where you’ll be treated with respect and basic decency, I strongly recommend choosing another place.”
