“I inadvertently booked a small room, with a very small shared bathroom on the third floor terrace. It was hot with no fan. Also it was noisy with music from nearby square until late at night.|On a positive note though, there were good views from the terrace to the beach front and sea. All the spaces were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with the usual breads, omelette, tea or coffee, fruit etc.”
“I really enjoyed my three-night stay. It’s a peaceful and welcoming place that's well-located and easy to find. The rooms are traditional and have everything you need. Breakfast was included — a nice surprise — and delicious. The showers are clean and hot. The staff are extremely friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you 😊”
“Really Mo roccan style - Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience. We requested a date change more than two months in advance of our reservation, which should have been more than sufficient time to accommodate a simple adjustment. Despite this, we were told that no changes were possible under any circumstances. At the same time, it was clearly visible on Booking.com that the requested dates were available, which makes their refusal even more difficult to understand or justify. The hotel chose to refuse any reasonable solution and retain the full payment, despite the early notice and obvious availability. This demonstrates a lack of flexibility, poor customer service, and a business approach that feels purely focused on taking payment rather than treating guests fairly. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. I would strongly advise future guests to be very cautious before booking, as the willingness to cooperate or resolve simple issues appears to be minimal.”
“This was a really lovely and tranquil place to stay tucked right away in the heart of the Medina and very accessible to everything. Our taxi had to drop us and we walked 6 mins to it however, as it it not accessible to cars. A little disconcerting but we found it ok.|The staff, particularly Hashim and Omar were extremely welcoming and so very helpful. They put us at ease and nothing was too much trouble. We were welcomed with Moroccan mint tea and an opportunity to talk through what to see on our trip and book any additional excursions.|Our room was very attractive, clean and had pretty well everything we needed. Just note, no kettle and no hangers as you may expect in UK.|It was so quiet, the bed was comfy and we slept well, the air conditioning was ok but not hugely effective but it was 39 degrees outside so we were very grateful for it. There was always someone on reception whatever time of day or night. Our beds were made fresh every day which was lovely. |The breakfasts we had at the correct time between 8 and 10 were really very good and so much of it. |However, we were offered an early breakfast at 7am one morning as we had a trip that started early, a lovely offer but the breakfast was truly terrible. We put it down to there being no kitchen staff, it was completely inedible. warmed up bread in the microwave that was so hard you couldn't get your teeth into it and a burnt pancake. We asked for coffee but were served tea as told there was no coffee. A peep into the kitchen revealed it wasn't so clean and a lot of food left out from the night before which was off putting and such a shame as really it was the only thing that slightly marred our 4 night stay. |Otherwise I would have given 5 stars as it was great value for money and a super place to stay and would recommend.”
“Great location right in the busy medina! Dar el ghali is good option with spacious rooms private bathroom and air-condition. It has a great size terrace with a view on Sale a cross the water. It more of a budget place but offers good breakfast and staff is very pleasant.”
“rihad selected by tour. Nice traditional accommodation attested the old Medina. Rooms varied - as single got a small room, but comfortable. Quiet and okay for a single night. Staff friendly and welcoming. Great location.”
