“I've never done a review for anywhere I've stayed (or for anything I've bought) and have travelled fairly extensively in my time (middle aged) and always stayed in budget accommodation. Been travelling around Morocco for over 2 months but just felt I should do this. This property has a quite major ant problem, the bathroom is very dirty and in poor condition, the kitchen is dirty, the room has dirt/spit on the walls, one bedroom window is broken (can't open), there is a faulty shower head/water pressure/hot and cold water problem, a light outside the rooms isn't working, a plug socket in the kitchen is hanging off the wall, the wall socket in the room is behind the sofa (sofa has to be moved to access?!), 9 guests (family of 5, a couple and myself) using 1 bathroom, one bathroom not in use (locked) and there's no signage/sign board for guests to find the property. Only a door and a buzzer. I spent 15 minutes trying to find the place when I was in the correct location so had to call. I know this is budget/cheaper accommodation but it is in very poor condition, very dirty and not possible to find. I've stayed in many budget accommodations in Morocco but never experienced anywhere of such bad quality as this place. It is this sort of thing that can give the country a bad reputation. Tourists paying for substandard accommodation and no one does anything about it. It also shows the complete lack of standards and enforcement of regulations if there are any to enforce. Some people will try to get away with what they can and their greed is all that's left. Its an interesting and beautiful country with friendly, good natured and hardworking people on the whole but too often tourists are treated like they don't matter and are seen only for the money they may have. Perhaps these people who show such little respect don't realise or care that tourists aren't necessarily wealthy coming from Europe or elsehwhere. It's all relative and many of us return to debt and high costs of living. I don't want to tar all Moroccans with the same brush as like with all countries the decent folk are in the majority.”

“Terrible experience, avoid staying here. 1) The location here is wrong, the place is hard to find and there is no sign anywhere. I was made to wait 40min, then had to pay a tout to get me to the place 2) I booked the room because on Booking it said it has a/c. It doesn't. And it was terribly hot.”
