“Our stay here isn’t even over and I felt compelled to leave a review. Salah and Fatima treated us like family during our stay in Fez. We truly appreciated the hospitality, kindness and attentiveness to detail at every moment. We felt cared for at all times and it really made coming back to our room to decompress after busy days out in the Medina, enjoyable- it felt like home. This Riad is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the blue gate and Is within the Medina. All around, this was the best stay of our backpacking trip through Morocco. “Overall, this Riad is a fantastic place to stay when exploring old town Fes. We stayed 3 nights and had a good time. Located near the entrance to the Medina and off the Main Street, it would be hard to find a better location. The first time coming, you might have a hard time getting to it as there aren’t many signs and it’s alone a back street which is like a maze. After walking it a few times, it’s easy, but you’ll want google maps or the like to find it. Breakfast was included each day. Boiled egg, a bunch of breads and tea - a typical Moroccan breakfast. Room was comfy and quite large. It had a tv, couch, bed, a/c and private bathroom. We stayed in the Sherazade room). As mentioned in another section, beds are firm, but we found it comfortable. Not being on the Main Street the room was quiet. Only 2 other bedrooms in the Riad, so not many guests. The bathrooms are on old world plumbing here, so there is a noticeable smell. You’ll notice it when you first get into the room, but we adjusted quickly and it never really bothered us. Would recommend and stay again. Host is fantastic.”

“Les idrissides is a beautiful riad very close to the blue gate, so it's easy to visit the medina without getting lost. We immediately felt welcome, salah and fatima are very kind and meeting them was a pleasure. Breakfasts were exquisite and the room was deep cleaned every day, with daily towel and sheets change. Also if you want to book a tour to other sites just ask Salah. Great terrace with amazing view where you can enjoy a tea whenever you want. I would totally raccomend it for a stay in Fes”

“We didn’t stay here but wish we did! We were lost in the Medina and the owner kindly helped us, contacting our riad and organising for someone to come and take us to where we were staying. We were so grateful for the assistance after a long day of travelling!”
