“A group of 5 very tired women arrived for one evening at this hotel. We were not happy when we found ourselves with some rooms with one bed, versus two single beds. Fortunately, they fixed it right away for us by moving next door- rooms were great, wonderful view and close to the dining room. The staff were great and so accommodating. The dinner was superb! Definitely Michelin worthy- so impressed! Breakfast was great too. Truly a nice oasis before venturing further into the Sahara Desert.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Dar Rihana Dades and would definitely come back anytime. The rooms are modern, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. We especially loved the beautiful balcony overlooking the Dadès Valley—a great place to unwind after a day of driving. We also found the location ideal for exploring the area: the famous viewpoint above the hairpin curves is only about a five-minute drive away, and the starting point for the hike to the Monkey Fingers is just about ten minutes away. We’d especially like to highlight the hospitality: The hosts were exceptionally kind, warm, and helpful without being intrusive. On the host’s recommendation, we also booked a guide for the hike to the Monkey Fingers—an excellent suggestion and a real highlight. We were also very satisfied with the food. Breakfast was exceptionally good and lovingly prepared—a perfect start to the day. Dinner isn’t strictly traditional Moroccan, but rather has a European flair. For us, after a few days of traveling, this was a welcome change and very delicious. The only minor criticism: We were there for two days, and dinner was quite similar on both days. A little more variety would have been nice. Overall, however, this doesn’t change the fact that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can definitely recommend the accommodation.”

“We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful dar. The location is absolutely stunning, right by a gorgeous gorge, and the views from the pool area are breathtaking. It was the perfect place to relax and take in the scenery.||What really made our stay unforgettable, though, was Mohamed. He was an absolute rock star! He took incredible care of us from the moment we arrived, ensuring we had everything we needed with the warmest hospitality.||We also chose to eat both dinner and breakfast at the dar, and we are so glad we did. Both meals were superb—fresh, delicious, and authentic.||I cannot recommend this place enough. If you are staying in the area, do yourself a favor and book a stay here!”

“We recently completed an 11 day trek through Morocco. This hotel and associated restaurant was by far the best stay and meals that we had on the trip. Like all riads, this was a little quirky. The room was nicely appointed and it had a spectacular balcony. The view of the valley and surrounding mountains was breathtaking. The associated restaurant (just down the street) did more than just tagine (we had lots of tagine), which was a nice break. I only wish we could have stayed another night to enjoy the scenery and pool.”

“Gorgeous rooms with beautiful views. From the very beginning I knew it was going to be a wonderful experience. The fresh juice with delicious homemade cookies was just the start. We had dinner and breakfast at the family restaurant a few doors down. It has been the most gourmet and creative food we’ve had on the trip. Every item was homemade and so delicious! Sad we only had one night here. A lovely area to go for a nice walk just outside the hotel too. Wonderful hospitality and such a lovely family business. Wishing you continued success.”

“Amazing experience. The hotel itself is lovely and comfortable - the dining was astounding. We only had one night while in transit to camping - but the food alone would make us come back for more. Gourmet dinner followed by a gourmet breakfast the next morning. Truly wonderful.”
