“I’ve stayed at Kasbah Rose many times now, which is probably the clearest indication of how much I value it. The neighborhood is phenomenal. It’s beautiful, calm, welcoming, and incredibly easy to navigate from, which matters in a city that can initially feel overwhelming or complicated to newcomers. From here, Tangier starts to make sense very quickly. What keeps bringing me back, though, is the care. On my most recent stay, I arrived extremely early after roughly 24 hours of travel, well before check-in, fully expecting to just leave my bags and wait. Instead, the staff immediately worked to prepare a room for me as quickly as possible. That small act of kindness meant a great deal in that moment. That kind of generosity is not exceptional here. It’s simply the norm. Everyone who works at Kasbah Rose has always treated me with warmth and genuine care. Over time they’ve become friends, people I know I can message if I need help or advice while in the city. I’m deeply grateful for this place and for the people who make it what it is.”

“Kasbah rose by any other name would still stink. Located right above a waste dump where pieces of meat are disposed thereby encouraging an army of rats, kasbah rose is an exercise in miniatures. The room is the smallest we have ever stayed in our life in any country and any city. Cannot move. Cannot open the luggage comfortably. Turned down our request for a slightly bigger room when one became available. Not much of a lobby either. Towels are threadbare with the luxuriant feel gone. Breakfast is in the lobby or the miniature roof - three flights up. The manager can arrange things very well. Overpriced taxi service (70 MAD from La Gare) and is keen to become a guide when asked about things to see.”

“Solo female traveler- From the second I arrived to the end of my trip I felt very well looked after. I was greeted outside as I arrived in my taxi as it was late at night and to make sure I was ok - very thoughtful touch! They me feel like at home. The Riad is a little gem. Very cosy and welcoming. The room was very lovely with very comfortable bed. Had air con hot/cold. Beautiful traditional shower room in the bedroom. The terrace area was beautiful and I had a delicious breakfast in the morning. Best Moroccan mint tea I’ve ever had too offered to me all the time. It really was delicious! Mohammed showed me all the places I should visit and how to get there also best restaurants for food. He was so helpful and caring. I stayed 2 nights there and then I travelled to Chefchaouen. Mohammed showed me best way to get there and best time to leave. He even called me the following day to make sure I arrived safe and everything was going well and to make sure I had my travel arrangements done to get back to the airport. And to call him if I needed any help. I felt very safe and very well looked after. Thank you so much for a lovely stayed. Best place to stay and very close to everything too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️”

“This is a nice small road that is part of the medina wall. The hosts are excellent and will do everything you need to make it a nice stay. The only reason they are not 5 stars is steps. He steps to get in the Road, and the steps to get to your room are steep and narrow. I would definitely stay there again.”
