“I tend to be a pretty picky eater and usually stick with what I normally eat, which can be boring. My friend has been going to this restaurant for many years and suggested that we go. And I’m so glad I broke out of my regular scheduled meals and tried something new because the food was absolutely delicious! I went with the sampler option which is a really good option if you are new to the food or just want to try their dishes. I also added a chicken kebab, which was delicious! If you like spice, I would definitely recommend getting a little side of the spice and mixing it with different items. I mixed it with the red soup and that was excellent. Their special limeade was superb!! Their sauce for the kebabs and the fries was so good I wanted to just eat it! Also, the people that that worked there were so friendly. We sat inside and it did get a little bit noisy, but it wasn’t too terrible. Definitely make reservations because it does get busy.”
“Food was amazing and service was fast and friendly. Try the lentil soup and make sure you get the baklava square for dessert. We did not have a reservation but only had to wait 10 minutes for a table on a Friday night. Will definitely be back!”
“This place is amazing. The meals feel cozy. I got the okra with beef and it was phenomenal. The cashew baklava is perfectly balanced in flavor. Can’t wait to go back and try more menu items.”
“First time experiencing Mazza - SLC. The service, food and atmosphere are amazing. We started with stuffed grape leaves. They were exceptional and paired very well with our Lebanese wine. Our Waitress gave us good selection. Then we had the lamb and vegetable kabobs and the baked beef and potatoes. For both dishes, the meat was flavorful and tender. We will be going back. No other place in Utah has such unique wine selection.”
“Excellent quality food, well done all around. I want to come back asap, dreaming about the preserved fruit and olive dish, the coffee is the best as well.”
“Over all, food was decent, service was solid, and the layout/atmosphere could be improved upon. Dishes were generously portioned and filling. The rice was a little dry and the lamb was a bit chewy. All of the sauces and dips (hummus, tatziki, tahini, etc) were fresh and flavorful. There’s a long booth along the wall with multiple tables projecting out such that half of each table sits in the same, long booth and the other half is in chairs facing them. Our table of four was squeezed in uncomfortably close between two neighboring tables such that the two booth-sitters were trapped in. They would’ve had to climb over strangers or we would’ve had to awkwardly move the entire table in order to let them out had one of our neighboring tables not emptied out first.”
