“As an official tour guide in Morocco, I had the pleasure of bringing a group of 45 students from Spain to Arabesque Restaurant in Tangier. Our group enjoyed several lunches and dinners, as well as a wonderful Moroccan cooking class, and the experience was simply outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine Moroccan hospitality. The food was exceptional—fresh, authentic, beautifully presented, and full of traditional flavors that gave our students a true taste of Moroccan culture. Every meal was a delight and exceeded our expectations. The cooking class was one of the highlights of our visit. It was well organized, engaging, and educational, allowing the students to learn about Moroccan cuisine in a fun and interactive way. “I recently visited a fairly new restaurant and left genuinely impressed. The space itself is expansive and thoughtfully designed, with gorgeous lighting, beautiful furniture, curated artwork, and a soothing ambiance that immediately makes you feel at ease. Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout the meal, striking that perfect balance of warmth without being intrusive. We began with a selection of starters presented in a tiered frame, which was as visually striking as it was delicious. Each dish was unique, carefully crafted, and aesthetically pleasing, setting a high bar from the outset. For my main, I ordered the meat tagine with prunes, and it was wonderfully executed. The balance between sweet and savoury was spot-on, creating rich, decadent melodies on the palate that lingered long after each bite. The undeniable star of the evening, however, was the pastilla. Encased in a delicate, puff-pastry-like shell, the savoury chicken and almond filling was topped with a light dusting of icing sugar. The contrast of flavours and textures was utterly divine and refreshingly unique — a dish I’m still thinking about. We finished by sampling a selection of desserts, all of which were rich, indulgent, and deeply satisfying, providing a perfect end to a memorable meal. Overall, this restaurant delivers on every front — atmosphere, service, and, most importantly, exceptional food. A place I would happily return to and highly recommend.”
