“For our last night in Tangier, we wanted to enjoy some fresh seafood before leaving this beautiful coastal city, and finding Puerto Marina Restaurant ended up being the perfect choice. It was close to our hotel, had good reviews on Google Maps, and honestly turned out to be one of our favourite meals of the trip. I ordered the Casserole Puerto Marina and it was absolutely packed with flavour — prawns, pieces of fish, shrimp, red peppers, tomatoes, garlic, and ginger all cooked together beautifully. Comforting, rich, and incredibly fresh. My husband ordered the marinated fried fish and completely devoured it. The fish was fresh, succulent, and so flavourful. Even the orange juice was one of the best I’ve had in Morocco. The portions were very generous, and the prices felt extremely reasonable for the quality and amount of food we received. We also ordered a slice of red velvet cake to take away and wow… it was next-level delicious, especially the cream cheese icing. The service was another highlight. Our waiter was friendly, spoke very good English, and was genuinely helpful when I was deciding what to order. Everything arrived quickly, and there’s even a little button on the table to call the waiter if you need anything, which was such a nice touch. A really memorable meal and the perfect way to end our time in Tangier.”
“As a seafood lover, I was looking for a great seafood restaurant in Tangier, and this place exceeded my expectations. We ordered the Moroccan salad, fried seafood, Saint Pierre fish, steak with fries and tomato sauce, plus tiramisu and caramel pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious – easily 10/10. The service was excellent, the restaurant was clean and welcoming, and we paid only 540 MAD for everything, which was great value for money. Highly recommended!”
“Excellent seafood and super fresh, very good service, price quality is great. Very clean place. Octopus is well prepared. Another reason to come back and try their paellas. Update on 12/04/2026: just came again for the second time and tried their paellas. Just amazing! Highly recommend.”
“Excellent sea food restaurant. The fish soup was delicious. Ordered grilled Deniz fish (sea bream) and prawns. Both were delicious. We concluded the meal with iced nougat desert which tasted out of this world. The freshly squeezed beetroot drink was lush. Pricy but worth it.”
“We visited Puerto Marina with family and ordered 5 main dishes along with a few sides. We had two grilled salmon dishes — the first came with fried onions and mashed potatoes, and the second with vegetables and mashed potatoes. The sides were tasty and well-prepared, but the portions, especially the mashed potatoes, were very small. The salmon itself was fresh and flavorful, especially with the sauce they served, but the overall quantity was far too small for the 160 MAD price — both the fish and the sides could be more generous. We also had one paella dish, which was absolutely delicious — no complaints there at all. The fried calamari was fine, but nothing too special, and unfortunately, a couple of pieces still had the calamari spine, showing it wasn’t cleaned properly. We avoided those pieces afterwards. For sides, the marinated anchovies were a hit — everyone loved them. The salad was good but under-seasoned; no salt, though I assume the sauce on top was meant to make up for it. The biggest disappointment was the chicken spaghetti pasta — it had almost no sauce flavor, was dry and heavy, and the only good taste came from the Parmesan cheese. Once that was gone, so was the enjoyment of the dish. On a positive note, the place looks very nice — minimal, modern, and with great interior design. The service was also good, everything went smoothly, and the atmosphere made for an enjoyable family outing. Overall, Puerto Marina has some standout items (paella, anchovies, sides) but also some serious misses, especially on portion size for the price and consistency in preparation. With a few adjustments, it could be a great spot.”
“If you’re craving for seafood in Tangier. This place should be in the list. They have a very delicious seafood soup. And I really loved the grilled fish. You can choose the fish yourself from the display.”
