“Expensive for what it is. The service is good but the place is “poor”. Old towels, loud voices, lack of clean…”
“Amazing experience! Came for a pamper having walked the Camino for five weeks. Had massage, Hammam and pedicure. The owner even went to get me a Moroccan SIM card and installed it! Can’t recommend Kenzi Spa highly enough. Thank you to all the staff. I feel like a new woman!”
“Wow! What an amazing experience we had. My friend and I booked a hammam followed by a 30 minute massage package. It was so good. The staff were fantastic and we came away feeling so scrubbed and relaxed. We hope to go again before we leave Tangier. We highly recommend this team of women.”
“I wish I had read the real reviews before booking because my experience at this Hamam was absolutely horrible. From the moment I arrived, the worker assigned to me was unprofessional and completely indifferent. She was complaining how life got her to do this job- I don't think any job is shameful but doing your job so poorly is the real shame. She didn't even make an effort she didn't know how to scrub nor massage - Complaining how she has to work back to back while fasting and how hard her life is while using every free minute to her phone and the irony is that I was the first customer!!!! I ended up doing half the treatment to myself just to not feel her draining energy. I am not one to leave reviews but when I tried to leave my feedback the receptionist said "normally people are satisfied with her" highest form of gaslighting and still charged me full price and not a single apology. It made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. The entire experience felt rushed and careless—there was no attention to detail, no sense of relaxation that left me feeling disappointed and scammed. It was only afterward that I saw all the bad reviews, which makes the overly positive rating feel completely misleading. This place is a total scam—don’t waste your money, time and energy.”
“We just had an amazing hammam and 1 hour massage here. Staff was super friendly, the place was very clean and they gave us clothes and shoes that were very comfortable. The hammam was amazing, my skin felt so soft after it and the girl doing the massage was very experienced. Highly recommend going here, prices are also very reasonable.”
“Traumatizing and Unacceptable Experience I had an extremely distressing experience at this spa during the summer, and I feel it’s my responsibility to share it to warn others, especially those who value modesty and privacy. My mom and I, both from a practicing family (I wear a scarf, and my mom wears the veil), booked appointments here hoping for a relaxing experience. Instead, it turned into a nightmare. While my mom was sitting and having her hair done, I went inside for a massage. The masseuse was rude, unprofessional, and spent most of the session talking negatively about her life. To make matters worse, she left the room several times during the massage, even though men were sitting just outside. When the massage ended, she told me to take a shower and locked the door from the outside. The shower had glass doors, providing no privacy at all. While I was showering, she came into the room, opened the door wide, and placed my towel down, which was already invasive. After I finished showering and began drying myself, she entered again and opened the door so wide that a man outside saw me fully undressed. This was an extreme violation of my privacy and dignity. Meanwhile, my mom was in the main area having her hair done when three men entered the space, even though the spa was supposed to be private for women. The staff knew my mom wore a veil but didn’t ask the men to leave. Adding to the discomfort, random men were loitering outside the spa, creating a very uncomfortable atmosphere. Even though I was refunded in full, the emotional damage caused by this experience cannot be undone. I had severe anxiety afterward and was deeply upset. This spa failed to provide even basic respect for privacy and modesty, especially for women who dress modestly or for anyone who values dignity. I strongly urge anyone considering this place to think twice. If you care about your privacy, especially as a woman, this is not a safe or respectful environment.”
