“Excellent accommodation. Clean spacious room with hot shower, opens onto the little ground floor courtyard. There was also a roof terrace with good views. Safe place to store bikes. It is hard to find. You need to go inside the city wall. Dar Chamss is down a narrow alley next to the wall. It has a yellow sign outside. It does not look much from the outside, but a little sanctuary once you go through the door.”

“Great location, peaceful stay, and outstanding hospitality I stayed at this riad for a few days and had a truly wonderful experience. Location: The riad is perfectly situated in a convenient area – close to the local market, many cafés, and the train/bus station. Despite being centrally located, it’s tucked away in a quiet and peaceful area, which made it ideal for relaxing. Facilities: There’s a cozy terrace where you can enjoy tea or a meal in a calm setting. The rooms are clean, well-kept, and the shower was excellent. An added bonus is the shared kitchen – it's tidy, well-organized, and perfect if you want to prepare your own meals in peace. Hospitality: What made this stay truly special was the owner’s warmth and kindness. Even though he didn’t speak English and I didn’t speak French or Arabic, we still found a way to communicate, and he was incredibly helpful and welcoming. It was one of the most heartwarming and memorable human connections of my trip to Morocco. Highly recommended – thank you for the amazing experience! 🫶”

“right as we arrived to the parking lot nearby, Omar came right away to pick us up and show us the way, and what a surprise! A gem right by the city walls, close to the city center, the room was spacious and well decorated with a beautiful bathroom and terrace, perfect to have breakfast and enjoy some fresh air. unbeatable hospitality and value for money, would highly recommend!”

“A little gem within the city walls! The location is close to the grand taxi/bus stand and about 5 minutes walk to the market. Communication with the host was very responsive. Omar picked us up on the street as we struggled to find the place (correctly pointed on Google maps) and was very helpful and friendly during our stay. Our room was on the ground floor towards the patio. Nicely done with charming features in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and plenty of blankets provided for those chilly nights. The place was spotlessly clean and the best shower so far on our roundtrip in Morocco - great pressure and hot water. The Dar has a terrace with chairs and tables overlooking the city wall and a fully equipped kitchen to use. A great feature especially during Ramadan as not many restaurants were open. The WiFi was ok - a bit up and down. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would return anytime. Chokrane for your great hospitality.”
