“We choose to stay here for our mini break in Tetouan. Great location in the Medina-took a while to find it at first but Said came to find us. Very clean and tidy. Great traditional Moroccan breakfast. If you book make sure which room as some include steps up to the bed!!”

“We loved this small hotel. Service was very high level - so helpful with escorting us to meals, arranging tours, and answering our many questions. Breakfast was simple and delicious, especially on rooftop terrace. Rooms were small, but comfortable; we were thankful for AC. Very quiet. The service is the best! “We had a lovely stay at Dar Fama. It’s it right in the heart of the Medina, close to Bab Okla. it was so easy to get around with it as our home base for several days. The room was comfortable and as pictured. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable and at ease. They helped us in getting around and seeing the sights, as well as finding some of the off the beaten path sights and treats. I would highly recommend staying here.”

“We had a fantastic stay here. It's an amazing unique building with friendly, helpful staff who went out of there way to help in a truly fascinating city. Really, we have never been anywhere like it before! It's very clean and comfortable; situated in heart of the Medina. Very atmospheric! Not that I didn't like this - but just be aware! - The riad is on a smaller street deep inside the medina market with just a small sign and a door you have to knock. It can be somewhat confounding to get there! I recommend following the staff's advice and phoning them from Bab Al Okla gate when you first arrive so they can come and collect you and lead you to the accommodation. We were lucky enough to find it when we first arrived with our bags on our own, but the medina is a complex maze (!!!) and Google maps/GPS/phone signal is often inaccurate or not available - there were several occasions when we could not find our way back despite being there previously! Also, it can be a little noisy from people passing by but this did not spoil it for us.”

As for Wi'am at the reception, she welcomed us with great kindness, was very understanding, and assisted us from the very first moment with professionalism.”

“I can say I'm lucky enough to have an opportunity to stay in such a riad. The staff are so helpful. The service is great. We stayed in a suite junior for seven nights, which made our stay an enjoyable one. The beds and sofas are so comfortable. The staff afforded a bed for our baby which is really kind of them. Special thanks goes to all the staff there, especially Ibrahim for being so willing to help at any time. The riyad is located at the center of the old medina, at the heart of Tetouan near Bab Okla (gate). I personally enjoyed the stay and I admit it's one of the best experiences I had ever.”
