On Papote

“Our family of 3 ate here at lunchtime today, and luckily for us their breakfasts are served til 3pm. The menu is only in French but I’m sure they would’ve helped us if we needed. The free wifi was good and the service was attentive. Seating is all outside but undercover, however because of the high winds it was quite cool. All of the dishes came as a set which included your choice of a hot drink and either orange, apple or carrot juice. We ordered the omelette which was actually 2 fried eggs, the Beldi (local cuisine) and the Brunch. The coffee was strong and the orange juice freshly squeezed and we all loved the almond butter which came with the Beldi. Our total bill was 135dh. It’s a shame there’s no indoor seating, or that there’s no outdoor heaters. And menus in English would also be a bonus. I would return and happy to recommend - great value for money!”

“We are Spanish and were looking for a breakfast option that felt familiar, and this place turned out to be a great choice. The breakfast was delicious, generous, and satisfying — just what we needed to start the day. We ordered the "Express Pain Grillé" set, which came with warm wholegrain bread, olive oil, jam, white cheese (Jben), and a hot drink and juice of your choice. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The price was very reasonable — around 2€ per person. Maybe next time we'll be more adventurous and try something more traditional from the local cuisine. One thing to note: there are quite a few cats around the terrace. They’re very cute and calm — I wish I had brought some cat food to share with them!”

“Great little spot, lovely classical music, good food at good price. Milkshake is really good, but small for the price. Avo juice was lovely. Burger was good, basic, but a really reasonable price. Motz salad has a generous portion of cheese.”
