“The check-in experience was very poor, and the front desk staff had a terrible attitude. The negative emotions of the front desk staff were very obvious. We provided the order confirmation code and passports, but because the front desk staff entered the confirmation code incorrectly, they could not find my hotel reservation and refused to check us in. Later, it was my colleague who helped enter the correct hotel reservation code on your front desk computer, after which the front desk staff reluctantly and with a terrible attitude processed our check-in. The whole process took more than an hour, and we only got into our room after 1 a.m. Your management staff can review the video surveillance to verify this. I will not make any bookings at your Ibis hotels in any location in the future, and I will also inform the person in charge at Ctrip to conduct a necessary evaluation of your hotel to determine whether to delist or block it.”

“## Great Location and Staff, but the Rooms Need Serious Help Visited in last week of May 26. **Pros:** * **Location:** The hotel is in a fantastic, convenient spot right by the Marrakech train station (Gare de Marrakech). Super easy to get around. * **Staff:** The team here was very nice, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. **Cons:** * **The Rooms:** Very outdated and old-fashioned. They feel like they haven't been refreshed in a long time. * **Air Conditioning:** The AC barely worked, making the room pretty uncomfortable to sleep in.I had to request my room change twice , again staff was nice to accommodate. * **Breakfast Hygiene:** This was the worst part. There were flies everywhere around the breakfast buffet. I even found a dead fly stuck inside the jam container (see attached picture). **Verdict:** While the staff and location are great, the lack of working AC and the major hygiene issues at breakfast.”

“If I could give 100 stars, I would, to express how much my parents and I loved our stay. We received truly luxurious treatment from all the staff members, starting with the ray of sunshine at reception, Wissal. Every great experience begins with a great first impression, and she set the tone perfectly. Without any prior request or additional cost, she gave us a calm room with a beautiful view, something that truly melted my heart. A big thank you to Anas for his kindness and professionalism, always answering my questions smoothly throughout our stay. A very special thanks to Issam, the best barman you could ever hope to meet, someone you can have deep, meaningful conversations with while he goes above and beyond to serve you and meet all your needs, from drinks to tapas to music. I would also like to thank the café staff for their kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism. And of course, my gratitude goes to the hardworking housekeeping team, like bees, dedicated, caring, and sweet. A special mention to the parking security guard, who is the sweetest I have ever encountered, his smile never leaves his face. “Stayed at ibis Marrakech Centre Gare for three nights and had a good overall experience. The service was friendly and efficient, and the breakfast was enjoyable with a good selection available each morning. The location was also convenient for getting around the city. However, I would have liked to have a mini fridge in the room, and the bathroom could benefit from some refurbishing and updates. Despite that, it was still a comfortable stay overall.”
