“Avoid this place. Food just comes out - alot! However as they do this they just over charge you at the end. We had to argue our way from the full price. I would definitely avoid stores as round 32-36 as they are the same "group". We didn't get sick which was a positive.”
“Worst place. We ordered some food and wanted one of each. We never told them we wanted two but just what we wanted. In the end they gave us of everything two plates and we assumed it was just to split the portions since there wasn’t that much food on the plates for this price. Also they gave us a tiny glass of tea and we also asked if this is on the house and he didn’t answer since he couldn’t speak English. In the end they charged us the double price with the tea. For mediocre food with such little portions we’ve paid double the price than in a restaurant with better food. I will never come back and I hope they will go bankrupt.”
“Avoid this place—it’s a scam. We were persuaded by the person at the stand who claimed they charged “local prices” and that many locals eat there, so we decided to try it. We ordered two dishes for 125 MD, but then they tried to sneak in salads, saying they “came with the meal.” The food was awful—we could barely eat it. When we asked for the check, they suddenly claimed the total was 250 MD, which is outrageous. This was hands down the worst experience I’ve had in the city.”
“AVOID stall 34 if you are a foreign tourist (even though many locals are seen to be eating here, we were still cheated as tourists while surrounded by local diners). We ordered the mixed kebabs which we were clearly told consists of beef, chicken and lamb. When the mixed kebabs came, it was all chicken but only marinated in different spices/colors. When we confronted the stall about this, they tried to claim that the red marinated chicken was beef (it was definitely not!!! but they didn't deny that there was no lamb and instead now said that the third meat was a spicy chicken). The mixed kebabs are priced at 85 while the all-chicken is only priced at 40. They still charged us 85 and we didn't want to argue with them further because the menu doesn't specifically state what the mixed kebabs comprise of (it was verbally said by the stall worker), so we let it go. Also to note that separately, although not specifically a scam but just a lack of transparency in pricing, you will be charged for the bread and dip (10 per piece). The overall blatant dishonesty of this stall really left a bad taste in our mouths and I wanted to share this to help other tourists to Marrakech avoid being cheated by dishonest vendors like this one.”
“Avoid this place! My partner and I have been traveling around Morocco for nearly a month, and we’ve had mostly wonderful experiences—until we encountered this spot. We were seriously harassed by a man who tried to lure us in. We politely declined with a simple “no thanks,” but he wouldn’t take no for an answer. At first, he followed us, and then he started mocking us, blocking our path to prevent us from leaving. He insulted us because we ate at another stand. It was honestly the worst experience we’ve had during our entire trip. Afterward, I looked at other reviews and it seems we weren’t the only ones to have a bad experience here. Apparently, the staff is known for being dishonest (not surprised)—charging up to 90€ or 900 dirhams for a meal, while at other nearby stands, we enjoyed a much more affordable meal for only 240 dirhams for both of us and we ate a looot of food. This was a huge disappointment after so many amazing experiences in Morocco. Save your time and money and avoid this place”
“Careful that all their skewers are 50-79 dh, they will push you for mix that is 150 dhs. The food is edible but nothing special.”
