“Staff were very friendly and had decent English. The main building looks beautiful; the block to the rear that we stayed in was a little disappointing by comparison. That said, the bed was a pretty comfortable place for my partner to rest while recovering from food poisoning, and central Azrou is easily walkable from here — I had a nice wander down in the morning while he slept. Bathroom was big and with plenty of hot water, but no soap or toilet roll (we were fine as we carry that with us). Parking was a huge plus, behind the property walls and locked at night, although Azrou seems perfectly safe anyway. The food was average and very expensive. I'd recommend a wander into town for meals instead, as I think most of my complaint about Maison Duffal is really over that price. I did really enjoy my experience at lunch and dinner — the cats are lovely!”

“Absolutely out of my expectations and what I read in reviews! I'm very disappointed and surprised. Room was noisy due to the tiny walls, no curtains at all in the windows, and the door to the balcony was broken... Also was very poor in terms of facilities, there were a heater, but it didn't work and start to be cool in the area, we had slept with two covers. They gave us used amenities for the bathroom, not as they publish in pictures: shampoo was opened and gel half used... no more. The second towel is a carpet for the feet, so is rough and big. The water was only warm even we put in the maximum level, and from the shower the water was going out to all the floor in the bathroom abd there weren't a mop or something similar to clean. The bed that they fixed for us was also horrible: two single beds unified, both sunken down and the line in the middle was like a high border between the two beds. Additionally, they try to take from us 550 MAD (breakfast included) per the only room available in the 1st floor with balcony when we called the first time speaking English, then we call speaking Arabic and the price was 400 MAD (breakfast included)... Not recommendable at all. I hope to disclose the reviews placed before because has no sense. Breakfast was good, and the ladies for cleaning and kitchen were nice.”

“Very nice place, calm and relaxing. Hassan and the family are very polite and kind helping us knowing the city and other near places for picnic. Food was excellent and very delicious fully home made. At Maison Duffal you feel that you are visiting your family. Rooms were clean and tidy.”

“The owner, Hassam, treated us wonderfully. He is a wonderful generous man. Najir, our server, was also wonderful with a great smile and demeanor. The room was comfortable though the heaters weren't really up to the task. And the walls were a bit thin but that proved to not be a problem our second night. It is an easy walk to town.”

“the photos and reviews on the internet doesn’t correspond at all to reality . unprofessional staff. the hotel has a ballroom and the manager only cares about these events a lot of noise there is no quiet in the middle of the day. breakfast not good at all .”

“Lovely place to rest and charge energy. The dinner was amazing, typical maroccan home made food. The room was clean and tidy, the staff was absolutely in every detail for us to have a pleasant stay.”
