“I am a tourist and I have been hearing that this place is the best but overrated and pricy. I visited different bakery shops around Morocco, this one was one of the good ones to try. The shop is spacious, clean, very well food presentation which makes you want to buy everything. I ordered bread and some traditional Moroccan sweets. The taste was very good but unlike the sweet I had in Tangier which was incredible mouth-watering sweet. The service is exceptional & the staff is very friendly.”

“This is by far the best bakery I have ever gone to. The items there are of high quality and taste. The quality remains consistent throughout. The only thing to know is that you may have to come early since close to closing the stock of different bakeries and salty foods is often low due to high demand. However, overall a wonderful bakery.”

I wasn’t aware that I needed to take a token, but despite that, a very courteous lady assisted me and allowed me to place my order. The bakery items were absolutely delicious as well. “Best sweets, but very slow service”

“Amoud isn’t what it used to be. The quality and portion sizes have declined, while prices continue to rise at an incredible rate. Even more disappointing, the customer service has also worsened — staff seem less welcoming, and the smaller team leads to very long wait times. On some days, even with just three people ahead, you can end up waiting around 20 minutes. I used to love some of their cakes and products, but unfortunately, things have changed to the point where it’s no longer worth the visit.”
