“Super kind and generous. As I landed early to Casablanca and took the first train to Casa port, wandering early in the morning is not the best idea at all. But my best decision is to come to this small lovely restaurant with warm atmosphere. Despite the language barrier, I can feel the warmth and welcoming from the gestures as well as the food 💛 They even let me leave the backpack for a while so I can explore the city easily. Extremely appreciated and wish them all the best!”
“I would like to thank all the staff working there. In spite of fasting time till sunset during Ramadan they cooked and served delicious food for tourists. Best wishes for your business and i wish you good customers! Thank you very much for good service ! Alf shokran ❤️🧿”
“We were staying at a riad in the Medina and came for a coffee but stayed for a meal. We both had rfissa which was excellent but so filling that we only ate half and took the rest back in a takeaway dish for the next day's lunch. Returned the day after but only needed the soup and a coffee! Excellent service and good price. Great place to people watch.”
“The owner is so nice and kind. Portions and prices are amazing. He has many customers from all over the world. Everything tastes so good especially the Rfissa. As an international student, I've come here at least once a week since I've arrived in Casablanca. It's traditional morrocan food and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try authentic morrocan food at traditional prices.”
“I had a thoroughly excellent meal at this place, which offers some great people watching on one of the main drags of Casablanca. The salad and tea were par for the course but their daily special, chicken rfissa, was dynamite. I had never heard of this dish but it seems like they make noodles out of leftover bread and then smother it with a lentil stew. The spice profile was almost more Indian, as it was reminiscent of a daal curry (which is probably why I liked it so much). It was a huge portion, and they gave me probably a quarter of a chicken. The photo doesn’t do it justice. I can see why this place has such good reviews.”
“A wonderful place to experience authentic Moroccan cuisine and local atmosphere! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. I especially enjoyed the Rfissa, which was beautifully prepared and full of rich, comforting flavors. The tagine was also excellent—the meat and potatoes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Located in the old city, right in the center of Casablanca, this spot offers both a cultural and culinary experience. If you’re looking to enjoy traditional dishes in a genuine setting, this place is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended!”
