“Bouchra was so awesome. I loved being there. She was so sweet and professional. Her food reminded me of my childhood. I ended up coming there 3 days in a row for dinner. I enjoyed being there and eating all the great food. I would come back again to just eat here. Everything was tasty, good quality and the restaurant decor was great…”
“******MUST VISIT***** Bouchra (owner) I’m so blessed to visit with you and have such a beautiful and delicious meal! I had sardine tagine, spinach with bread and beetroot & orange juice. Now one of my favorite tagines and side dish of spinach beyond words. I actually created little mini sandwich splitting a quarter roll of bread, then separate like a little pocket and put in spinach & sardine ball & then add some of tagine juices!! Then back to sopping up tagine with bread the Moroccan way; I ate EVERYTHING 😋😋😋
“Thanks to Google maps (which rarely fails me), this is where I had my first meal in Morocco. And what a great start. The chef and family are warm and welcoming and—after some 150 5-star reviews—ready to introduce you to their home cuisine. I had three starters: Zaalouk: a smoky, savory blend of roasted eggplants, tomatoes, garlic, and cumin. Bakoula: made with mallow leaves, it’s steamed and sautéed with preserved lemons, olives, and plenty of cilantro and parsley. and Marinated Olives For my main, the chef prepared a Perch tagine using fresh fillets, likely seasoned with chermoula (a classic marinade of garlic, cumin, and coriander) and slow-cooked with Carrots and Onions, Olives and Lemon, and Peppers. Finally, Atay (mint tea) and Pâtisserie Marocaine. The tea was deep and flavorful. The pastry the Kaab el Ghazal. This is the "king" of Moroccan sweets. • The Profile: It’s a thin, delicate pastry shell filled with a dense paste of almonds, orange blossom water, and cinnamon. • The Experience: It’s subtle and nutty, designed specifically to balance the mint tea. Bonus: good WiFi!”
“I had an absolutely delicious tagine here with beef, plums, and eggs. The sauce was incredibly flavorful, and the seasoning was truly something special. They also served dark bread, which I really enjoyed. The appetizers “Zaalouk” and “Taktouka” were also super tasty. The owner, Bouchra, was very welcoming and attentive, and the restaurant itself made a great overall impression. I would definitely visit this place again!”
“All food were delicious with the tastes of mama’s cooking. The avocado juice was so nice and fresh and natural. The only thing was the fish pastilla which could be crispier.”
“Many thanks, Bouchra Chef, for the excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic meal—authentic Moroccan cuisine, homemade and delicious. We will certainly be back. 🤗”
