“My first and last time for sure, it was about 9 in the evening and my fries were cold, dry and old. The chicken sandwich was awful. Too bad, I gave this place a try based on good reviews. I hope they can do better for their customers.”

“Great place full stop. The only real downside is the menu. It’s a direct assault on self-control, especially Bonzo’s desserts, which are unreasonably good. Everything manages to be both indulgent and somehow still feel clean. I won’t pretend to add something profound that the other five-star reviews haven’t already covered. I’m currently too distracted by their absurdly good French toast to try.”

“I had a very disappointing experience at Bonzo Coffee Shop in Essaouira. The staff clearly lacks proper training in both customer service and drink preparation — especially milk steaming. I raised a polite complaint about my matcha, and instead of addressing it professionally, the barista insulted me, saying I was "crazy" and needed "my medicine". By the end, he even threatened to call the police because I complained. This is completely unacceptable. I make better matcha drinks at home than what I was served. I strongly advise the management to train their staff on how to talk to customers — and how to steam milk properly.”
