“Hotel Shotak is the largest building in Tlata Ketama. Rather rundown but functional. Run by two charming brothers, Mohammed and Anis who went out of their way to help us. Model Muslims in a region of tricksters keen to lure travellers with false promises. Perhaps the only youth in the town who do not smoke kif! Do not eat anywhere else in the village. Walk and admire the extraordinary fields of cannabis on all sides but trust nobody except these brothers.”
