“ps: Special thanks to MJID. He was talking english fluently and from our experience he was THE BEST english talking man in Morocco. We come from Europe and i have to say it was an amazing experience, mainly because of Mr. MJID.. He was THE BEST waiter in Morocco, he was kind, amazing and funny. Telling us interesting things about his amazing country. He did very nice job and we all enjoyed it. All love from Czechia!!”
“While heading to Ouazzane, we decided to stop at Apia for lunch. Sadly, it turned out to be one of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve ever had, despite all the glowing reviews on Google. The positives: • The location is great, with a beautiful view. • The interior design is lovely. The negatives: • Service: Absolutely terrible. The servers seemed uninterested and careless. We sat for 20 minutes without anyone approaching our table. I had to stand up and get our own menus. When I mentioned the wait to one of the servers, he laughed in a disrespectful way. After finally getting menus, we waited another 10 minutes for someone to take our order. • Cleanliness: Zero out of 10. The table had crumbs from the previous guests and was never cleaned. To make matters worse, there were ants crawling on it. Hygiene is a complete disaster here. Food ordered: • Goat Tajine – Surprisingly good. Meat was tender and well-seasoned. • Margarita Pizza – Very disappointing. Doughy, bland, barely any cheese or tomato sauce. • Chicken Pizza – Same issue as the margarita, with dry chicken, heavy dough, and very little sauce or cheese. • Émincé Chicken – Decent. The mushroom sauce helped keep it tender. Came with rice and fries, which were fine. • Mixed Barbecue Platter – A disaster. The chicken pieces were good—tender and well-seasoned—but the minced beef kebabs were undercooked, had redness inside, tasted unseasoned, and honestly felt like eating expired meat. • Bissara – Creamy and flavorful; you can’t really go wrong with this dish. Overall, this place relies heavily on its location and design, but the service, hygiene, and most of the food fall far below acceptable standards.
“Had a very interestingly negative experience in here. This restaurant isn’t the first time we go to, but over the time it has gotten worse. We ate inside, where there were many flies and most of the tables were uncleared. We decided to sit on a table and wait for them to clear it. We had to wait for 10 minutes, during which we got our own menu and looked at the meals, then a waiter came and cleared the table for us… turns out he was only a “table clearer”. After waiting for another 5-10 minutes, we were able to finally order. However, we were only able to get our food after waiting for ANOTHER 5-10 minutes. The food was cold, came separately, and is honestly NOT worth the price and wait. I don’t know if this is the experience for breakfast, even though we’ve already come for lunch before and enjoyed it, but this review HAD to be made because of what happened this time.”
“If you are in the Ouezanne area this is the best spot to eat or just chill and grab a coffee on the way to Chefchouen. In Ouezanne it is traditional to wash your hands with rose water, alongside a hot soup and orange juice. The food paired well with the beautiful setting. On a hot day, you will feel nice and cool dining around lots of floral decor. The place was really fancy.”
“The toilet had a very strong odor of bleach to the point that it made me suffocate, and the bleach was all over the floor which made me think it was just water that was not mopped but unfortunately it ruined my pants and it turned it full of bleach stains. I talked to the manager but nothing was done, he was just apologizing in a way to make me quite. The place is so nice with great decorations and very spacious, it has a shop that sells cosmetics and other stuff, but unfortunately the food is not quite good and with the incident that happened to me in the toilet I was so pissed.”
“We were served by Majid and had a great meal here. The was delicious and fresh. The menu had several options, we were impressed that they were transparent and intentional about labelling meats that were organic and others that weren’t. Would definitely recommend when in Ouezzane!”
