“This restaurant, run by a lovely family and located next to the main square, serves homemade Moroccan dishes at excellent prices. We were served complimentary olives and eggplant with peppers, both delicious. I'm celiac, and after being assured that the potatoes are fried in oil used only for that purpose, I ordered the chicken skewer with fries. It was excellent, and I didn't suffer any reaction at all. Highly recommended.”
“We were welcomed into the restaurant by an older gentleman who spoke great English. After conversing with other groups, he informed us that another customer felt the couscous she got here was the best she had in her 10 days in Morocco, so I got the couscous. It was truly delicious! Our waitress was friendly and welcoming too, and the other dishes we got were also high quality. My one point is that the lighting in the place was harsh, but the food made up for it!
“A traditional Moroccan place with very welcoming people. When I visited, it was quite empty as it was the off-season. We were offered complimentary appetizers, and the chicken skewers were very good. I recommend this simple place with excellent food.”
“we ate here two times. Delicious food, lovely personal service by the daughter of the cook. She explained our dishes and ingredients. Great location near the kasbah.”
“Best food in Chefchaouen! We were met by the amazingly friendly owner and treated to some fantastic food - can’t fault this place at all! Even better that it wasn’t a purely tourist-targeted restaurant, but rather was a popular spot for both tourists and locals too. 10/10 recommend!”
“Beautiful traditional Morroccan food with very kind staff. Had the anchovy tajine, was so delicious! The bread and olive and the apertizer olive were very good too”
