“We enjoyed our meal here so much that we drove back two days later from Essaouira. Its simple, barbecue fish, fries, tomato salad and lentil side-dish. The fish is very fresh, selected from the fishmongers next door, with delicious bread from the bakery two doors away. All for 100 Dirhams. The service from the owner (Ahmed), the water (Omar) and chef (Mohammed) was excellent. We also really enjoyed chatting to Jamal outside (the local Immam) who helps feed all the local animals, dogs, cats and many donkeys! 😀”

“Delicious, simple, and super fresh dish. A bit out of the way, this restaurant in an isolated fishing village will grill up fresh fish caught that day. It doesn’t get better than that. The sides and accompaniments are limited so this would be more of a snack than a meal.”
