“Beautiful setting, beautiful view. Quiet and relaxing hotel. The suite is spacious, the pool quite large. My kids really liked the hotel. Great potential because really needs some renovation work to be really a 4 star. One point to improve urgently: vary the breakfast and change the orange juice. Otherwise we had a good stay.”
“I stayed at Moulay Yacoub hotel with my husband for one week in April. We had a lovely break in a very relaxing atmosphere. The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. The pool area was bright and cheerful. The staff were happy to serve drinks at the pool, which was really kind. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and professional. I commented that I liked the roses around the hotel and was given a beautiful vase to have some in our room. On arrival to the hotel we realised that our travel adapter was incompatible, the bar man took it and adapted it for us. He then organised an english speaking guide to take us to the amazing Medina in Fez. The restaurant offers a varied menu, and again the waiting staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The local thermal spa, was a lovely experience only a short walk through the local village Moulay Yacoub. (That in itself is an experience.) The only negative side is the distance to the city of Fez, A Grand taxi cost 150 dirham each way, this adds up quickly over a week long stay. However You could take a local bus into Fez.||I would recommend this hotel to anybody that is looking for a relaxing break in a beautiful country. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for the perfect holiday.||Yvonne and Bob”
“The building seemed very old as if it needed renovation. Didn't quite like the room, which was too small to move around. Plus the pictures don't look like the hotel in reality. Dinner wasn't great. But breakfast was perfect and the staff were professional and very nice. Overall the experience was not bad.”
“Spent a week at this hotel, amazing staff always happy to help. They would personally take us into Fes on a few occasions thanks to Gotra what a lovely woman. Mohammed was very helpful. Yusuf even drove us to the airport himself. ||The hotel is on a hill to get into Fes it's a 30min drive. We would visit tge Spa at Vichy which is 10mins walk about 150 steps to walk down. You can get a taxi.||The breakfast and dinner is always the same insha allah soon they will upgrade the menu. The hotel is out dated just needs a good renovation. Amazing place over all will be back again.||Beautiful scenic place.”
“My husband and I spent a night the night at this hotel, while we went through the cure at the Moulay Yacoub Hot Springs. We have been there at least on three earlier occasions and regret to report that there appear to have been no renovations or improvements since our last visit. The room was comfortable, clean and well-priced at 485 dirhams with breakfast. The A/C and TV worked but the bathwater was tepid and the faucet sprayed water everywhere but in the tub. The door handle to the dining room fell off in my hand and subsequently in the hands of three staff members. All three just pushed the handle back into the slot. No one tried to repair it. The next morning, it again fell off into my hand. The food was overpriced and unappetizing and something in the breakfast gave both of us Raisuli's revenge. (We usually have iron-clad stomachs). The hotel advertized wifi but we were unable to connect on two cell phones and two tablets. This is the only hotel near the Hot Springs and it is not up to the standards of the Hot Springs.”
“Excellent place to stay out side of city noise. Excellent breakfast and you can order tagines in morning and get ready for lunch and you can see it cooking 🍳 right outside. Nice pool, we don't even stay in rooms much just to change, pray, and sleep”
