“Visited in February 2026. Morocco 🇲🇦, Marrakech. We stopped by this pâtisserie while exploring the city and were immediately drawn in by the bright, elegant interior and the impressive display of desserts. The space is spacious, calm, and beautifully lit, with no long queues and very reasonable prices — a refreshing contrast to some of the more hyped cafés in Marrakech. FOOD: The selection of pastries and cakes is extensive, and everything looks visually appealing and carefully crafted. We tried the lemon tart, which had the right balance of acidity and sweetness. The filling was vibrant and citrusy, paired with a crisp tart shell that held its structure well. It leaned slightly toward the sweeter side, but overall it was well executed. We also ordered a raspberry sponge cake, which had a nicely balanced flavor profile. The sponge was soft and light, while the raspberry added freshness and gentle acidity, preventing the dessert from feeling heavy. A pleasant and well-balanced choice. Compared to popular spots like Bacha Coffee, here you don’t have to pay an entrance fee or wait in line for hours just to enjoy a coffee and dessert — which makes the experience much more relaxed and enjoyable. SERVICE: Service was smooth and efficient. The staff was polite, and everything was handled quickly without unnecessary waiting. VERDICT: A beautiful, bright café with a strong pastry selection and fair pricing. If you’re looking for quality desserts without the crowds and hype, this is an excellent option in Marrakech. Highly recommended for a relaxed coffee break.”
“Excellent service and a wonderful experience overall. The pastries and sandwiches looked beautiful, and I especially loved the variety of bite-sized snacks and traditional Moroccan cookies. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. I’m really happy I found this gem!😊🥰”
“Amazing food. We had smoked salmon bagels and macrons and cake to finish off. Fresh orange juice, everything was perfect. They have a tiny seating area out front, but don’t be put off. The shop inside is super clean, but importantly the food is tasty and fresh. Will definitely recommend this to anyone.”
“Reviews are accurate. Great pastries, high prices. Still cheaper than the USA or Europe as far as top quality for the price. However, note they have NO BATHROOM and NO WIFI. A bit irritating when you are trying to sit down for a break.”
“We walked 1.6miles to visit Pâtisserie Amandine again and it didn’t disappoint! Whilst the location has changed since our first visit in 2013, the quality of the sweet treats still remain as good as a remembered from a decade ago.”
“Fantastic prices, prices are somewhat high for Morocco but definitely much better than the equivalent in France or the US for example. Loved this citron meringue tart”
